It seems to me that the religious clerics or preachers or religious leaders of all the religions are in bed with the governments and what they want the people to do the clerics tell them to do. It is all a thirst for power and money and they use religion. If people are stupid enough to listen?

Violence is not necessary at all to promote an all loving God.Thus, any system or religion that promotes violence in the name of God is therefore suspect and ultimately false!

I completely agree with "the preacher". An all-loving God, in my opinion, would not support violence in order to spread love. It's a total contradiction.

There is something that always sticks in my mind when talking about scripture to someone. It deals with Moshe(Moses)when he was instructed to bring forth water from the rock. Yah told him SPEAK TO THE ROCK, but because Moshe struck the rock twice, instead of just SPEAKING TO IT, he was not allowed into the promised land. It reminds me of how powerful Yah's Words really are when used properly.

Nope. Unfortunately, my fellow Christians often forget the "Love thy neighbor" and "Turn the other cheek" when the easiest way out is to use violence.

Turn the other cheek....... unless it hurt to much the first time.
