Space and Time are so basic to the average human's day-to-day experiences that the concept of space and time NOT being 'fixed' or 'separate' is simply beyond their perception or understanding. For this reason most humans continue to relate to the Newtonian model of the universe based on a 'fixed' 3 dimensional universe made up of 'solid' particles operating under a linear space-time continuum despite the fact this theory was found to be manifestly inadequete nearly 100 years ago. Space and Time are intimately connected and form a 4 dimensional continuum of 'space-time'. Under such a paradigm the concept of a Universe comprising an aggregation of separate little parcels of subatomic particles (Newtonian Theory) becomes meaningless. Furthermore, there is no such thing as a universal flow of time meaning time is neither linear nor absolute. Space and Time are relative to the observer and as such 2 observers will experience HOLD ON FINISHING IN ADDITIONS

For instance, if a Christian feels very very strongly that the Bible is the inerrant word of Yahweh and that Jesus is their savior, should I assume that their feelings denote truth or that their feelings are subjective personal conviction?

Should I regard their chosen method of "ascertaining truth", i.e. finding what feels true and then declaring it to be reality, as particularly reliable?

If yes, is the same applicable to others who use the same method but arrive at different conclusions?

Were there any manuscript personally written by any of the Apostles that described the teachings and thoughts of Jesus Christ? Thus far we only hear about Christ and the Testaments and the Bible, etc. which were all authored by religious people subject to their interpretation. For example: The Ten Commandments - was there any proof that god gave Moses the inscription of the Ten Commandments and if he did has anyone seen personally or knew the whereabouts of the block? My point is that how can preachers of the various religions claim to tell the truth when there never was any proof that what they claim were true. The excuse of being inspired by god don't hold water.

There is only one God who can save you, He is the Father of Jesus. I know you're going to get mad and say..you Christians are so angry and exclusionist. Hellooo..if you have the truth..you don't water it down! There is many roads on the mountain, but there is only ONE that leads to the top. If you are going to bet your life on some pagan religion..you better see what Jesus has to say before your life is over. If you die w/o the saving grace he provides..your goose is cooked!!

i just answered a question. i said: God's responsible for every single thing we are and we do, for He created us and gave us free-will. Who the hell would give free-will to such selfish, evil, greedy creatures? He's completely responsible for the incompatibility in the mixture. He's responsible for the results.

If I make a robot and give it free-will, and he destroys a whole city and kills 3 million people, guess what? the robot is not responsible. I am for creating such a being.

Im not a violent person at all, im mostly friendly and get along with people. Sometimes people treet me badly and brush me off and that makes me very angry. Recently my parrents got divorced and I feel normal because I was hoping for that to end disputes. Yet all those little bits of anger were gathering and they seem to control me in some ways. Now my mom has a high position in her job and I bareley se her and that makes me upset, negative and evil thoughts some how fill my mind sometimes all of a sudden. Sometimes I have these outbursts of extreme hatred that I try to contol. When these occur I fell like Im being controlled, my eyes turn red like when youre in the morning and my hands make claw like positions and I dont feel at all like myself. Recently I felt angry with my dad and I had an outburst. Im skilled at psiballs and the thing in me made one so potent that my dad suddenly got in 1 hour a very high fever. The thought I get are so vile I cant belive I that i thought them.

Like people in my family are often Buddhist and Hindu. (Other religons too, but those are the major ones)

In our little praying place in our home we have hindu gods, then we have a monk, and various preists and religous leaders from other religons who my mother and father respect

So how many of you follow more then one religon? Or even if you don't completly follow the religon word for word, incorpiate various ideas from the religons together

I don't think mayne people follow a religon completly and belive every aspect of it though

WELL followin that logic, if u say that somebody had to create the world, then someone HAD to create god. and those answers sayin that god has always existed do not make any sense at all because if i say that the world has always existed, then u say its impossible.

(Please no Atheists or Hijackers as this is a serious question that I would like Christians to only to answer)

Certainly the Father and Holy Spirit would have been recognized in Jewish texts before Christ was born to complete the Trinity.

Thanks.

read it for what it really says?...In the early 1700's Isaac Newton wrote that he believed the end of the world (as according to Bible prophecy) would be 2060 AD. He calculated this from the book of Bible passages that says "1260" days..."42 months"..."time, times, half a time". Isaac Newton interpreted that time to be 1260 years starting from 800 AD when Emperor Charlemagne re-established the Holy Roman Empire.
John Darby and Cyrus Scofield has propagated the most popular Dispensationalism (ie. Tim LaHaye novels)beliefs that inclube a rapture before a 7 year tribulation and other non-biblical events. Many other "So-called" amature theologians have bitchered up the Bible throughout the ages. What do you think will be of Darby and Scofields dispensationalism 50-100 years from now? I assume another amature theologian will concoct another wild idea and the world will flock to it. What are your thoughts?

unless you're just burying your head in the sand, you can't deny that other lifeforms inhabited this planet long before man, and for much longer. certain insects such as the cockroach have been around for millions of years. modern man has only been around for roughly 50,000. and long after we're gone, other lifeforms will most likely prevail and continue to procreate. what is god's purpose for these other lifeforms that have both proceded our existence and will eventually follow our extinction? was there any point to them existing long before us, and is there any purpose for them existing long after us?
