And uncomforting to know he will respond in His own time? God's unconditional promises may be delayed in their fulfillment, but the promises themselves are never rescinded. Can you draw strength and courage from knowledge that God is ever present with us?

I'll begin and try to arrange the creations.

I'll spread the word as is my duty,
A call for her of love and beauty.

I believe what makes sense to me. To some others I could be a real nut case.

I don't claim to be the only right way. I don't claim to be superior because of what I believe. In fact I think that we should all think for ourselves.

What does it say about a group when they claim to be the only right way? It also happens to be this same group that wants their beliefs in our laws. I won't stand by and let that happen without a fight.

The only truth that really matters to me is that we are all entitled to believe what makes sense to us. My belief does not entitle me the right to judge.

It is our duty, however, to speak out when we see injustice and prejudice. We should not look away and pretend it is not there.

We have the power to change the world. Don't you agree?

Vietnam brought home soldiers who told of the brutality they inflicked upon fellow buddhists. North and south were fighting a vicious war. told how they committed sucide in the streets by dousing with gasoline and setting themselves on fire in protest.
then Muslims say they are peaceful all the while sucide bombers are blowing up other muslims in every country in the middle east. From Pakistan to Afganistan to Iran and Iraq.
the stories we read about are very chilling. From rape being epidemic to mass slaughter.
Then we have Christians over in Iraq to settle the peace and it is by fighting the ones who are not peaceful. which makes sense but is anything but peaceful in its self.
so is there any religion that is truly peaceful?
they all say they are but their records prove other wise.

Just curious. If you do feel it is wrong, why do feel it is?

I ask this question because I was browsing through another site that I frequent, and a young lady there who identified herself as an atheist indicated that she held beliefs in karma and reincarnation. That got me wondering if many other atheists hold similar beliefs.

It seems to me that the existence of an afterlife would imply the existence of some kind of higher intelligence. Then again, what do I know?

If you had a time machine and you somehow knew exactly when it took place and you went to that time period, would you honestly expect to see two naked people (the ONLY two existing human beings in the entire planet)?

Would you honestly expect to see a snake talking to a naked woman and telling her to bite into a fruit?

More than anything, I have see more atheists and pagans that are ex-catholics as opposed to any other denomination in the Christian church. I am not against the Catholic church in any way, but I find this a little puzzling. Why do you suppose this is the case? Is there really a correlation between the two? What's going on?

Is it just me or is there a big conspiracy going around that all you have to do to become a christian is "ask God into your heart" or "pray for his forgiveness"? It seems that Christianity is being watered down by this falsehood. John 3:16 say "believe' and you will be saved. What does believe mean? Also, it speaks of finishing the "race", thus does this mean that becoming a Christian is a "process" that must be carried through to completion somehow? What are your thoughts?

This is probably one of the worst stories to come out of the Iraq war.

Masked men doused a fire year old boy with gasoline and set fore to him.

I asked the question "why would God allow this". I'm sure others ask this too.

http://edition.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/08/22/iraq.boy/index.html

Why are such things allowed to happen in this world? God loves everyone, doesn't he? Why wouldn't he intervene? Where was he when this happened?

Do you ask these questions too when you read stories like this?

make men & women so different? I mean, why did he make us so we totally don't understand each other? I mean you would think he would've made us more compatible if he wanted man to have a companion.
Please put in your opinions here!
