Yes, besides the 600,000 able-bodied men mentioned in the Bible, there were a great number of older men, an even greater number of women and children, and “a vast mixed company” of non-Israelites. So the total population was possibly over three million persons going up out of Egypt. It is not surprising that the Egyptian royalty hated to let such a large slave body go. They thereby lost a valuable economic asset.
(Exodus 12:38--"And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.)

Not all the Israelites were Jews in the original group that God and Moses led out of Egypt. There was a large group of foreigners that God allowed to leave with them including Egyptians. This is a proven fact because when God wrote The Laws of Moses He states that these instructions are to be followed by both the foreigners, aliens and the native Jew.
