I am not taking a side on this one but do wish to point out that to say that God is responsible for every thing we are and do makes your assertion that the maker of the robot is responsible for its actions contridictory as God would actually be responsible for your act of creation (the robot).
Ok I'm taking a side.
We are under the spell of Maya (the Vail of illusion) it causes us to believe that good and evil are real things when in fact God is (as the supreme and absolute reality) beyond such opposites. It is also illusion that our Will is free when actually we act according to a series a previous causes (very complex, involves our past experiences, genetic heritage, brain state and many other factors) that give a strong appearance of free will. God is responsible for this universe and is unaffected by our struggles for God is bliss. God can only remain in bliss because it sees through the illusion of Maya and knows that all is well, that all souls are beyond death and will one day attain bliss. Our trials our pain our sorrows even our joy amounts to nothing because God is sure of our eventual release. In this there is no contradiction.
In no way should this be a justification for inaction, we act in accordance to what seems good out of faith and appreciation of the fact that the battle has already been won, that we cannot fail to attain God, no matter how long it takes. We also act in accordance to what seems good because we have faith that separateness is also illusion and that unity was our original state and will be again.
It is beyond the scope of this forum to demonstrate (at least for me) but you can hold this view as an Atheist (as Sankara or the Buddha practically were or as Nietzsche or Sarte were) as an Agnostic (as the Buddha was) or a person of faith and devotion ( as Ramanuja, Ghandi, Kierkegaard or the Pope John Paul were).
I should admitt that they themselves might not in all cases in all ways agree that we are all on the same page but there is much in the teachings of them all that is similar to what I am saying. Some terms need to substituted but that's about it. Its all in how you look at it.
So you are right and wrong but it doesn't matter and neither do the thumbs, up or down.

Nooooo....see that is the marvelous thing about human being genious.
We have the capability to sort thru our thought process' and realize which ones we want to act on.
Thats like someone going out and killing and saying "god made me do it".
This is a perfect example of how all of the extremeist retards out there think.
Weak people cant think for themselves so they totally submerge themselves into their religion and think that every choice they make is b.c god wants them to...
bull crap

Good point, however, who is saying that the sins of the world are outside of God's plan. God created us with a set of guidelines, and our decision to sin have brought about the horrible things in the world. Don't lose sight of the big picture and don't worry, I think God has everything under control . . he is a very capable individual.

You got thumbs down because you are wrong. You are a child wanting someone to take care of you and you don't want to be responsible for your actions.
You're the type that always has an excuse aren't you?

with your easoning you will never be responsible for anything, not for the good things not for the bad things.
that is probably why you got a thumb down

We all get thumbs down, you have to learn to ignore it.
Pertaining to your answer, I disagree with you. There is a huge difference between God creating something and humans creating something. Free will means you have the right to choose, right or wrong. One day we ALL will answer for our choices.

God intended for us to be able to choose for ourselves good or evil. It's the people who are responsible for evil because they chose for it to be that way. The fact that God gave them that choice does not make him responsible for their sins.

if the robot had free will then it's it's fault. God didn't create us with the intention of us messing it all up.

You got thumbs down because someone didn't like your answer. That's what happens in a democracy, people have different opinions? Don't you agree? Or disagree?

Some people use TU and TD as a way to show agreement. If they disagree they will give you a TD.
