In the Bible, the archangel Gabriel is personified as a messenger for God. In EVERY mention of Gabriel's appearance to various people in the Bible, the message recipient becomes terrified at the angel's appearance. Gabriel immediately IDENTIFIES HIMSELF and COMFORTS the person.

Now let's take a good look at Mohammad's experience with "Gabriel"...
1.) The "angel" does NOT identify himself, as he does for all other people to whom he appears.
2.) The "angel" does NOT comfort Mohammad in any way when Mohammad became afraid.
3.) The "angel" commands Mohammad (who supposedly cannot read) to read. Mohammad tells the "angel" he can not read, and the "angel" repeats the demand.
4.) The "angel" CHOKES Mohammad, and Mohammad runs home to his wife... terrified.

This "angel" certainly does NOT appear to be God's benevolent messenger.

Who ELSE could that abusive "angel" be? Could it be Lucifer? Lucifer is said to appear as an angel of light, and is also called the prince of lies.

That, "Whatever you bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth shall be loosed in Heaven."

Does this mean that whenever a Pope commissioned a crusade, all the people in Christian Heaven went and invaded Muslim Heaven?

would you say that evolution and big bang theory IS the complete truth of how life and the universe begin???
or maybe it is just the best explanation we have nowadays from what we can nowadays observe???
In the universe there may be forces not observable or measurable nowadays with our technology...and i am not referring to god just using logics, 100 years back they couldnt observe many things we can now, so who is to say in 200 years people will be able to bserve new things to create new theories about how the universe began.

I can say from personal experience that Satan has never once contacted me, invaded my computer or dreams or even caused me to do anything, that I didn't want to do. According to some christians I should be ripe for him to take over and yet, there is only me. Do christians really believe, not only in an invisible omnipotent god but the "evil" twin as well?

I am infact a Christian, no I am not a hypocrite. I would like to ask all those who don't believe in God 1 question with 1 word..Why? I think it's terrible that God made you and without Him you wouldn't even be here, and you still turn on him. It's..Shocking.

There seems to be a common misunderstanding among non-Christians that the Bible teaches us to stone people for certain sins - witchcraft, adultery, etc. My question to them is, if that were true, why do you think we DON'T stone people? Think about it. There are a lot of professing Christians in the world. Even among all of our different denominations, how many of those still practice stoning? None.

Do you think it's because we're all "disobedient Christians", or could we actually be telling you the truth when we say it's because we believe Christ came to establish a new covenant?

Maybe it would be a good idea for everyone to watch and see what they learn. The other option is Universe which is examining "Uranus's toxic gases". I have to say there is still an adolescent inside of me that laughed hysterically when I read that!.

Educated Catholics only, please.

What is the authority of the Pope? Is he infallible? If so, by what means is he infallible? Any information would be helpful. Logic and pure reason would be best.

In the coming years, we will be sending a maned crew to the surface of the moon, just like back in 1969 right?.

There are those that believe that we, the United States, never ever went to the moon at all, and that the whole drama, played out in some studios, and special effects rooms.

When we reach the moon in a few years, will the truth be known? Will we see the remains of the prior moon landings, and irrrefutable evidence that we indeed, had succesfully compleated a flight to and back from our own moon?

This will surly be a interesting moment in history.

Few of many facts are:

"Do not the unbelievers see that the skies and the earth were joined together and We ripped then apart" Quran: 21:30
THE BIG BANG

"and the sun and the moon, all travelling in orbits" Quran: 21:33
Note: the Word "all" indicates that the reference to the sun and the moon is symboli, that is, of all other heavenly bodies that obey the same rules.

"and the heavens We created with might and We are expanding it" 51:47
Note: the word "expanding" is used in the present continuous.

"...and We have sent down iron, .." 57:25
this startling information confirms the "Nebular Hypothesis"

"and the Earth, after that, He made it like a deheya" 79:30
The word "deheya" in Arabic means an egg, hence the Oval shape. The word "after that" indicates that the oval shape came at a later stage to the formation of Earth.

One of the sciences that is given attention in the Quran is Embrology.
Incredible. Have a look at:

You'll be amazed

Jesus claimed to be God. If you say He was a good person and not God then you would be calling Him a liar. We know that no good person can be a liar. If you say Jesus was a prophet you would be calling HIm a liar. Jesus was either God or a liar. You will have to deciede for yourself who Jesus is. The Bible claims Jesus to be God in the flesh.

Blasphemy is a religious concept, and the "holy ghost" isn't even recognized in all of the Abrahamic religions. How is it possible for someone outside those religions to "blaspheme" (when they don't have any such concepts) against a supposed entity that they have no belief in to begin with?

Every prophecy contained in the Bible has come true concerning Christ -- particularly His miraculous birth, life, death, and subsequent resurrection. If you were to tour the tombs of the world's major religious leader you would discover that that Muhammad's, Buddha's, etc. remains are still there. However, visit Christ's tomb, and you will find it empty -- because He has risen just like He said He would. That should be enough to convince all of humanity that He truly was God Incarnate. So why all the debate, and why this effort to discredit Him? Christianity is the only religion that provides a way out, or cure, for our predicament. When Jesus hung on that cross He became sin on our behalf. By rising from the dead He rescued us from unending death, and gave us the opportunity to be reconciled to God.

Yes, we have free choice. That's why it means so much when we accept Him, because we know what life without Him is, and now we know how beautiful life can be with Him.

God created "time" therefore he knows everything that happens from the beginning until the end.
We each have a freewill to choose. God only knows beforehand the choices we make because they are made within the realm of "time" which he created.
He, being of the eternal (time does not exist) realm sees from the beginning till the end of time in a matter of a millisecond.

Look at life from his perspective and it really is rather simple, don't you think so?

Seriously, it can be done. All we have to do is get ourselves cremated and someone can sprinkle the ashes in Gehenna in Israel.
