Note: the Word "all" indicates that the reference to the sun and the moon is symboli, that is, of all other heavenly bodies that obey the same rules.

"and the heavens We created with might and We are expanding it" 51:47
Note: the word "expanding" is used in the present continuous.

"...and We have sent down iron, .." 57:25
this startling information confirms the "Nebular Hypothesis"

"and the Earth, after that, He made it like a deheya" 79:30
The word "deheya" in Arabic means an egg, hence the Oval shape. The word "after that" indicates that the oval shape came at a later stage to the formation of Earth.

The Universe is expanding. It has since expanded from this hot dense state into the vast and much cooler cosmos we currently inhabit. The theory actually indicates that space is dynamic and more space is constantly created between particles as the density of the universe falls

The Holy Qur'an in Surah Al-Anbiya, Ch. No. 21, Verse No. 30, says. "Do not the unbelievers see. (Arabic)… the heavens and the earth were joined together, and We clove them asunder?"

The above verses do not explain the big bang theory well. These are vague.

In the Holy Quran Sura Adh-Dhariyat (Chapter 51) Verse 47 it says

"With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of space. "

It says vast space but does not mention anything about expanding Universe.

Actually orbit just means to revolve around and when the Quran was written this was already known.

The Mayans, who buit hugh palaces and cities which still exist, created a Calendar that science agrees with. Stonehenge in England marks all four Stolceses, Easter Island has monoliths that Science can't explain, but they do have one thing in common with your Quran, their worshipers died out.

That may all very interesting to you, but Christians don't read your Quran....I am happy for you if you think it is the real deal but Christians really aren't that much interested in science....we are more interested in spiritual matters..we don't need to prove anything to atheists. If they choose to believe they are a product of evolution or descended from apes or climbed up out of primordial slime, that is their right.
