Every prophecy contained in the Bible has come true concerning Christ -- particularly His miraculous birth, life, death, and subsequent resurrection. If you were to tour the tombs of the world's major religious leader you would discover that that Muhammad's, Buddha's, etc. remains are still there. However, visit Christ's tomb, and you will find it empty -- because He has risen just like He said He would. That should be enough to convince all of humanity that He truly was God Incarnate. So why all the debate, and why this effort to discredit Him? Christianity is the only religion that provides a way out, or cure, for our predicament. When Jesus hung on that cross He became sin on our behalf. By rising from the dead He rescued us from unending death, and gave us the opportunity to be reconciled to God.

Yes, we have free choice. That's why it means so much when we accept Him, because we know what life without Him is, and now we know how beautiful life can be with Him.

Just like the Pharisees at that time. They are too bound to their earthly traditions. They were uneducated with the scriptures. Even during that time when Christ is already manifested to them, how much more in our time.

But God rewards those to whom it is due. Our faith is the testimony of His existence and His love. God has already warned us of this Age:

2Ti 3:1 But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self–control, fierce, no lovers of good,
2Ti 3:4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

Be vigilant and sincere.. Continue in the Lord..

2 Tim 2 : 15 -- Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, Rightly dividing the word of truth.

During the Enlightenment period, the intellectual movement known as Rationalism swept throughout Europe. This led many to interpret the Scriptures outside the teaching authority of the Church. Martin Luther furthered this with his novel theology of Sola scriptura (scripture alone). This led to private judgment theology and has given rise to the 30,000 different Protestant denominations. The Church emphasized that the Scriptures must be read in light of the apostolic Tradition that was handed down through the ages. As Saint Peter writes in his epistle, Scripture is not a matter of personal interpretation. It therefore must mean that it is a matter of public interpretation, and that is the interpretation of the Church. The Church has always encouraged reading the Scriptures. In fact, the Catholic Church is the one who first translated the Scriptures into the vernacular. Why? Because she wanted the Scriptures to be available to as many people as possible. Protestants don’t often talk about this history, do they?! Note also that Catholics get more Scripture than any other Christian faith. We literally read the entire Bible every 3 years during the Mass. The Catholic Church is the Church Christ built upon Peter and the apostles.

Well one - we don't know exactly where Jesus' tomb is. We only guess as to where it's location is.

Two - Christians believe we are in some sort of danger - that we can have no relationship with G-d unless it is through Jesus and we are covered by his blood. Other religions, such as Judaism believe we can have direct relationships with G-d.

Three - Jesus did not fulfill the actuall Messianic prophecies. He did not bring world peace, start a Jewish nation or turn all men to G-d to brush on the major high points. He also did not heal all aliments or stop death. Christians claim he stopped spiritual death, but in reality the Messianic prophecies say he will stop all death. Period. And then all the dead will be ressurected.

Four - the Christian Messianic prophecies are not the Messianic prophecies that the Jews recognize. The Christians ones consist of taking a few words out of a verse and then claiming it has to do with Jesus as the Messiah. The fact is if you didn' t know the story of Jesus then you wouldn't get a Messianic prophecy from the passage. There is no prophecy of virgin birth, no thrity peices of silver etc.

Five - There was no broken relationship between G-d and man. Man could always ask G-d for forgivness and G-d would speak to man. Regardless of what he had done.

Six - Blood sacrifice was only for unintentional sins. Read Lev if you don't believe me. Intentional, willfull sins had to be repented and asked forgiveness of. Look at David among other who vocally repented and in their hearts yearned for the forgiveness of G-d without ever having sacrificed for their sins.

Seven - It's not about trying to discredit Jesus as the Messiah because we hate Jesus. It's because we think Christians are mislead. That they are worshipping a false G-d.

Study Judaism for a change. Study what the Law actually entails and then read about how someone like me - a Hasidic Gentile - gets forgiveness. I don't need to sacrifice animals. Nor is there a rift between G-d and man.

You should read the Epistles. In the bible. Paul did not necessarily think that "Jesus" was EVER a "real person"!

The power in a story such as "Stone Soup" does not lie in whether it actually happened! And no-one is stupid enough to believe it does!

But for some reason, many Christians think the "reality" of the Christ myth is more important than its message.

That really is an appaling shame. And if there IS a "Christ", He's certainly VERY disappointed by His "followers"...

LOL prophecies coming true, thats a joke. i mean i could predict anything and sooner or later something would come along that would seem to fit the prediction and i would look like i knew it was going to happen.

I mean look at Nostradamus all the prophecies he had were stupid and people tend to find anything that suits and say that it was what he prophesied.

I would ask how people believe in jesus after nearly a billion years worth of actual physical evidence to prove that evolution is the reason why humanity is here

Sure, give me one scrap of evidence that a man named Jesus Christ existed during that time and I might somewhat in some way might believe you.

As for the prophesies, what is the mark of the devil? Is it social security numbers? Credit cards? The new chip that we insert in our body? Which one is it? I am betting you can't tell me since it's so wide open that it won't be settled upon until it's already happened. That is how prophecies work.

non-crazed...Unfortunately, in the Old Testament, God was mostly focusing on the Jews, especially His chosen branch... Gentiles weren't really able to have a relationship with God like the Jews could...

Jesus-the Mesiah, WILL be doing all that you stated, BUT, He needed to come when He did so that the Gentiles would have access to God and His Holy Spirit...and, since Gentiles really had no access to the Scriptures the Jews had, He had to teach Gentiles about God and all that went on before Jesus came into the picture...and about what was to come in future.

God be with you all :)

You mean the ones like where Jesus said he would return in that generation?

Mark 9:1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

Luke 9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Mark 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Matthew 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

The only source for the prophecies is the bible.

The only source claiming the prophecies are full filled is the bible.
