I can say from personal experience that Satan has never once contacted me, invaded my computer or dreams or even caused me to do anything, that I didn't want to do. According to some christians I should be ripe for him to take over and yet, there is only me. Do christians really believe, not only in an invisible omnipotent god but the "evil" twin as well?

I know he's not a twin. Just an exprestion. I have seen post in which christians are worried that Satan is doing this or Satan is doing that. So I thought I'd ask.

As to those who say he alread has me, I say prove it. My life is my own. I have no belief in god and no belief in satan either. The only evil is the one in mans heart.

As we see more satanic and evil taking over here in
this formerly Godly nation, we Christians are concerned
for the future of this country and our citizens and children,
and that fewer people really believe in God, our Creator
and won't make it into heaven at the final call, the Rapture.
It will be so wonderful that we hate to see any of our fellow
humans miss the call if their name is not written in the
Good Book. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light
so people don't realize they are being pulled in a wrong
direction unless they have the Holy Spirit and can discern
good from evil. Repent now, before it's too late and you too
can inherit the Kingdom of God.

Well, first, Satan, like us, is created, not a twin, or some how an equal. God is still in control. So that make Satan, not all-knowing, and not-everywhere at the sametime. Yes, Christians can blow up Satan too much. But one reason that Satan, or fallen angels (demons) have not contacted you is because, one, you wouldn't know it if they did, and two, you're already lost, so theres no need if you're already on his side. They mainly try to oppress christians because they are the ones that can actually have an effect in this world.

Well, then perhaps you are the second of a kind in the history of mankind, the second sinless man. I wish I could meet you.

Pardon my sarcasm, but the Bible tells us that all are sinners. I know that i am sinful.
Satan knows that we are sinners. His goal is to have the non-Christian stay that way, rejecting the claims and promises of the Bible and to have the Christian rendered ineffective and bland in living for God. Satan presents temptation to sin to the hearts of all people, and often, we do not resist it. However, Satan is not God's "evil twin." God will have the final victory over Satan, the evil angel that was banished from heaven.

Satan already has you by making you believe that he doesn't matter. He was created as the most powerful, intelligent, and beautiful of angels. He is Not God's evil twin! He was an ungrateful creature that told his creator "I will not serve!" And anything he can do to get us to tell God the same thing, he will with all his power, intelligence and, if need be, beauty. Then, when our life is at it's close, he will laugh hysterically as we fly from the face of our God out of shame for abusing his abundant graces, right into his horrible hands. Eternity is a long time.

Well I do agree but I will correct your a bit...First off Satan is not Gods twin, he was a "fallen angel." And Christians think he's the essence and cause of all evil in the world.

Think about it, if God is everything good then there must be something that is everything evil. Otherwise the church would have no comparisons to make.

If everything was good and that is all we know then that is the normal state of life. If everything was bad and that was all we knew then that would be the norm. We as humans would adapt. When you grow up in the north it is normal to have winters that are cold with snow. In the desert you expect to have dry hot weather and you adapt. We learn to accept it.

If there were no Satan then we would not have something to dread and we would not pray to God to save us. Save us from what? The normal state of life?

It has been said that if there were no God, man would invent one. Once man invented God he had to invent Satan too.

How come atheists never see Satan and are never contacted by him, since Christians seem to think Satan likes atheists?

Satan is Lucifer created for good works on behal of God. But he fell from God's grace because of his self-pride. We Christians are NOT worried over Satan. His demise will be the lake of fire.

if you've ever lied, stolen, hurt someone intentionally (as in rhymes with witch), or done anything that caused pain to another person - satan has contacted you...

he's not a computer virus, he's not a nightmare. he is the evil that waits to come out of all of us.

so your *personal experience* statement is crap. you are asleep and satan probably uses you like an rc car...

I'm not at all worried about him, or his cunning pals.

However, I have encountered them. Funny thing is, I didn't know I had one hanging on in my life until after I came to Jesus. Then, I realized that a lot of the evil in my mind was prompted by that freakish creature.

Being delivered by Jesus made many things more clear.

In many places, demons are very OVERT. In some places, they are COVERT. They are real and active, none the less.
