You cannot, touch, taste, or smell an idea.

You can read about one, but are you actually "seeing" the idea itself?

You can hear an idea, but are you actually "hearing" the "idea" itself?

Can the substance of an idea exist outside of written media (i.e. books and letters), electronic media (radio, t.v., computers), or biological media (our minds)?

Does the idea itself have an existance, and if so, what is the "substance" of its existance, is it matter, energy, or supernatural (i.e. spiritual)?

Many witnessed, and were a recipient of the miracles of Christ, yet some still did not believe. So what actually would it take?

I know circumcision is a JEWISH tradition, not a CHRISTIAN tradition, but I'm still rather conflicted as to whether or not I should have my son circumcised. I wouldn't do it for a religious reason (unless it was a religious reason NOT to do it). I know that man is made in God's image and is perfect the way they come (so therefore, with the foreskin they are perfect), but I have heard many conflicting stories as to whether it really is better, hygienically, to be circumcised.

I know that there are statistical rates that men who have been circumcised have less STD's and less chances of contracting them. But, I'm hoping my son would be sexually moral and would wait until marriage anyways (but i know that it doesn't always happen this way...). But is there any real benefit to having it done? Religiously or medically? The baby's father is jewish, so I know his view is that our son HAS to be circumcised (including the whole ritualistic bit). is it a sin to circumcise your child?

Friday, I was driving home from school, minding my own business. I was about to drive through an intersection, and there was this car right by me. Anyway, it was a green light and I was going to go across until I saw this woman walking right in front of my car. She was just walking right in front of me smiling at me. So I just slamed on my brakes and started to honk my horn. The person in the other car beside me proceeded across the street acting like they didn't see the woman. I was still honking my horn when I heard this big crash. Pieces of cars were flying every where. And it really freaked me out. A big rig had ran a red light and hit the car that was next to me. Two people had to be taken away by ambulance some people had cuts all over themselves. but their cars were totaled. and when I got out of my car to see if everyone was okay, the woman just disapeard. How could she have dissapeard? I mean it was daylight. I don't know. maybe I am going crazy or something.

I've heard that around 200,000 people die per day throughout the Earth. Either from old age, sickness, violence, or bad luck these people die. I've also read that it is much easier to end up in Hell than go to Heaven and wonder about how many people are right at this instant burning and gnashing their teeth in hellifire. From all the Medieval pictures of Hell that I've seen in the cathedrals around here, it is a terrifying sight. Women getting raped by winged demons and a gigantic Satan sitting on a throne shoving people into his fanged mouth.

As a Catholic, I believe I should not lose my virginity until I am married. I am not married yet, because I have not found the right guy, even though I'm 21 already.

The thing is, I think I might have lost my virginity. I was learning to ride a motorbike, so I can go biking with my friends, and my friend let me borrow hers to learn on. When I was sitting on it, with the engine running, I got this intense feeling, a good feeling.

So I revved the engine up some more and the feeling got so intense, I could barely breathe.

After that I couldn't stop doing it, so my friend had to pull me off the bike.

Was this wrong? Please help me, because I'd find it embarrassing to tell a priest about it, especially if I haven't sinned.

I am a Christian and I totaly believe in God,atheist don't believe so who are we as Christians or atheist to judge or ridicule each others beliefs?I know as a Christian I am to share God's word and love and I do. Isn't all about free will?So why doesn't it seem like any of us have free will?If it were about free will shouldn't we respect the other's beliefs? No we don't have to like it but shouldn't we just let people believe the way they believe cuz we aren't going to change each others mind's.I think the only way to reach someone is with love no matter what the situation is.What are your thought's?I really would like to know.

By right things, I mean make better choices in life.

And is it easier for a person to find the right person for marriage, if one is more religious?

I know that many trust & obey & love God with all their heart, mind, soul & strength.

But what about the ones who won't renew their mind in the Word of God (by reading the bible)? The ones who won't gather together with the Saints to praise God & hear the Word of God preached? (Faith comes by hearing & hearing the Word...)

Why do they listen to their lust of the flesh (reacting by yelling, cussing, or too tired to go to church, read the bible, or pray, etc.), rather than making the soul choice to follow after the (fruits of the) Spirit & making the soul choice to Trust & Obey God?

Do you ever give any serious thought as to why the natural order is based entirely on death? All life on earth is forced to feed on each other. It literally is a world of "kill or be killed." If the cheetah doesn't kill the gazelle, the cheetah will starve to death. One of them must die... painfully... there's no way around it.

Where's the love in that?

Do you trust your "heart?" Were you born with a conscience which already knows right from wrong? Do you follow society's rules? How will you pass your values on to your children?

Say instead of spirit you say that it is your matter(organic tissue) is reused to form more life and travels through many beings. For example I know my muscles are made from protien taken from other organing life, that wich was dead is now used to make life by me.
If I am buried when I die worms will eat me and birds will eat the worms, people may eat the eggs and in that way I feel connection.

Your thoughts?

God forgives easily through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ, but as humans we sometimes find it hard to forgive ourselves. No one does a better job making us feel guilty, then we ourselves seem to do...

I have always wondered this. But are they luckier because they rely on faith instead of reason to get through life, and sometimes this can allow one to get past things that their reasoning might tell them otherwise?
