People are expected to use discernment to develop opinions or principles to live by.
Discernment is more like deciding if a particualr way of thinking or a behavior is or isn't right for you.
This doesn't mean that you look down on others who do not come to the same conclusions, but simply it just isn't right for you.
Although, many times this process will make others feel like you are judging them, when simply you just don't agree with their beliefs.

What makes you think you have the right to judge those who judge others?

I don't have an obligation not to judge others because that is some other religion's tenet, not mine. However, I do feel that if you DON'T judge others you are a fool. You must judge people or you will be a sitting duck for every scam and liar who comes down the pike. For your own protection you must judge people.

I have the right to create my own suffering whether I believe that or not. Judging is just another way of doing that.

when did i ever say that i do!? i understand and accept that i'm not perfect and neither is anybody else and i always appreciate the difference, judging someone means being judged too and when i don't judge others, i don't care when others judge me!

In certain areas, i do, for I have not become morally depraved.
For example, NAMBLA gives me EVERY RIGHT to judge those sickos.
It is all done on a case by case procedure, so I don't treat smokers as though they are criminals, but in need of help to kick that habit

because they all call me the hanging judge.
Roy Bean is my name
cause its necessary ,without judges their would be no law to have authority over
i judge if i wish to be friends with someone
i judge what insurance company i use
i judge what kind of beer i buy
i judge and you do to. so don't lie to yourself
But may the holy spirit of God guide you in your judging
and may you keep the love of Christ in your heart

If you DON'T judge others, that means that you are gullible... and very likely, brain-dead.
