Hypothetically: If a fleet of Aliens landed on Earth right now. If they were little green inteligient men. If theyr were just as intelligent as Humans would your whole prospective on the Bible and God change? I am being serious.

Obviously, there are profound differences between the theory of evolution and the Genesis creation account. Those who accept evolution contend that creation is not scientific. But in fairness, it could also be asked: Is evolution itself truly scientific?

Atheist love to stand behind evolution and laugh at Christians for believing a God created them.

I guess believing that some strange scientific force made birds fly, which requires knowledge of aerodynamics, and eyes to see, which requires bending of light, and ears to hear, requiring manipulating of sound waves....
all by blind chance, kind of like a poem forming in the clouds by chance...

is more probable then the idea that a great supreme GOD who has knowledge and power and wisdom put all this together.

So what do Evolutionist believe? No one knows. They keep changing their theory.
And this week the idea of us coming from apes is being challenged and maybe even thrown out.

see for your self...

go immediately when they die or after the second coming of Christ?

If it's after the second coming, where do their souls wait for the big day? And why do Christians say "Grandma's in a better place now"?

believe or have knowledge of the historical, factual events and people that the Bible speaks of? Do you understand the realism of the books of the Bible and if you do, why is it that you can't believe in Jesus? This is not meant to be rude, I truley want to understand your basis of why you don not think that God exists.

As an Atheist, do you think it would be better to totally phase out religion and end all world religion, or limit religion to the churches, removing it's influence from the government, education and society? Or would you leave things as they are?

How would be the best way to go about it? What would be the effects?

Thanks for your answers in advance.

Or, how threatened do you feel by any of the ways that science influences your life?
Note: Is your belief system threatened by contradictions with certain scientific explainations of the universe? Or, this may concern secular topics, such as consumer safety in products that utilize emerging technology.

Do you think most of the "experiments" scientists talk about are really scams to make money from those foolish enough to listen?

Do you think the scientific community is intentionally presenting false information in order to suppress religion?

How do you manage to disregard the vast amount of proof that supports a scientific theory?

Is the difficulty of a "test of faith" directly related to the amount of proof that one must ignore by which to pass the test?

I'm just wondering, because lately, in my 37th year, I have noticed I am going a little bit thin at the front. Since nobody is born bald (babies having soft downy hair) does this mean that my impending baldness is a lifestyle choice? Like you-know-what? And can I cure it through prayer? Like you-know-what?

I am talking about American History. Is this the longest any race of people were in captivity and is this spoke of in the Bible , since America is Nation among Nations, and A SUPER POWER. Who are these people who continue to be persecuted in this Country like no other, considering they are the poorest and economically downtrodden ?
Was this a blessing or a curse ?

when there were many earlier bibles and the KJV wasn`t even a translation of the original text .It was written to merge all the contradicting Bibles used at the time into one orthodox Bible for the English Church
( i`m not being derogatory the writing in the KJV is beautiful and a work of art in its own right )

www.godofmoney.com . I'm a Christian and I've been thinking about this lately. I'm starting to think that maybe it's not a good idea to have God on money because God is sacred and money is a source of greed. Jesus said, "You can't serve two masters, you can't serve both God and money." So it doesn't make any sense to keep God on our money out of love for God. I mean you CAN"T love both. We wonder why people blame God for all their problems. HE'S ON OUR MONEY!

Did it manage to come? In what form?

2007-08-12 02:47:18 · 12 answers · asked by Anonymous

1 If then you have been raised with Christ, keep looking for the good things of heaven. This is where Christ is seated on the right side of God. 2 Keep your minds thinking about things in heaven. Do not think about things on the earth. 3 You are dead to the things of this world. Your new life is now hidden in God through Christ. 4 Christ is our life. When He comes again, you will also be with Him to share His shining-greatness.
I've been a full on Jesus lover for 56 years but now in my retired days i come so much closer to Him as I have so much more time and I want to know in REALISTIC TERMS. how we keep our bills paid, and houses in order but focusing really totally on God ??? tell me about your experiences or views.
