I believe what others meant for evil, GOD has used as a blessing. Where would we ALL be if not given this blessed opportunity to know true Liberty.
GOD has plans for others and here is where they may be fulfilled. Through the ignorance of slave traders, the prayers of the in slaved will be answered, they have received blessings and knowledge, and who were weak have been made strong.
I learned this after I rebuked my ancestors (because I'm white, I was ashamed of my skin color, I did not know if my ancestors were owners of slaves. I do know I have ancestors who fought against slavery.)

First, slavery has been around much longer than the US and every race has been a slave at some point, not just black race. Not too long after the flood, men were sold in slavery. This wasn't God's order, but He recognized men needed it so He put controls in for the nation of Israel so it would not be greatly abused. There were Jubiliee years where slaves and debts could be freed. Some other nations were slaves for several hundred years.

If you are referring to the African Americans, or other of the black race, I totally disagree with your analysis. It is believed by many of these great people that this is the case, but it is evident that they carry within themselves this "disinfranchised mindset" and God says, "according to your faith (the way you see it) be it unto you"; and that works across the board; black and white, red and yellow, brown alike! Many black people need to go to another country (preferably one where "black race" is the predominant race, or any Spanish country, or European) for at least one year and minister and live like the inhabitants of that country... ANY other country, and you will see IT JUST AIN'T TRUE about the state of affairs here in the USA!! They, as individuals, have the same opportunities as all races in America.
There can NEVER be total restitution for ANY inequity. The Irish and Polish immigrants were definitely ostracized and given ONLY demeening jobs and back-breaking labor in America at first. Both these peoples were hated, shunned and denied education. Also, your analysis and example isn't totally factual. God's people Israel were held in total bondage and slavery for 400 years, 10 generations, in Egypt; a country of black/brown race. I heard the black preacher/teacher Myles Munroe say that the slavery in modern days of the black race(s) was directly attributed to reaping what they had sowed toward God's chosen people Israel in Egypt. I can see into that, but you may not ever see it that way. I have no axe to grind here, but just know it isn't true particularly now in this century. Our government has bent over backwards to make reparations and laws to assure you get an ADVANTAGE in every area. You are treated "special" and it's never enough. May God bless you more and more. IF you are so unhappy, go where you think you can be treated as you deserve.., or start sowing seeds into others of love and forgiveness and just plant what you personally want to harvest. Amen? Trust God, not mankind. There are no areas of life where you do not have equal or better than equal access to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as a race of people. What you make of your life individually is like the rest of us. I came from what is commonly called "white trash"; illiterate share croppers and drunkards and whiskey making thieves. God has made me a NEW CREATURE. Not after my family bloodline or character.

We don't know why God allowed this. Why did He allow the Holocaust? Every generation on earth has a Why God? I know it's easier to say, but the Jewish people as a whole have not given up believing in the goodness of God and neither should you. Don't confuse the goodness of God with the goodness of people. People can be very, very evil. But God can bring meaning out of the evil that has happened to us. Just continue to seek the answer.

Because biblegod fully supports and condones slavery;
Lev 25:1 The LORD said to Moses on Mount Sinai,
44 " 'Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.(NIV)
Notice, in the passage above, your slaves become property you own for life. However, Hebrew slaves weren't owned for life. There were different rules for your slaves, depending on their race. Can you say prejudice boys and girls?
Exodus 21:2 "If you buy a Hebrew servant, he is to serve you for six years. But in the seventh year, he shall go free, without paying anything. (NIV)
Biblegod even provides instructions on how to beat your slaves:
Exodus 21:20 "If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, 21 but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property. (NIV)
So, don't believe those here who claim no one knows why biblegod allowed slavery. Now you know why. Biblegod fully supports and condones slavery, based on race, since Hebrews were slaves for 6 years, while non-Hebrew slaves were owned for life.

Adam allowed himself and his entire race to become enslaved to Satan, sin, and death, by his rejection of God, which is known as the "original sin".
Any subsequent form of slavery is merely a variation on the original.
God eventually provide the universal solution to the problem through his son Jesus, and through the church that Jesus personally founded.
Take it ... or leave it!

It was a blessing (God has actively participated in the destruction of entire towns; allowing slavery to happen was the nicest thing he is ever done, in that he had no active role in aiding it, and it wasn't genocide, which he has dropped the ball on more recently).
