IF people practiced their religions as they were originally meant, and not as some zealots would take the limits and interpretations of religion, then they would ALL be religions of peace.
Jesus' messages were those of peace, and caring for others.
Islam SHOULD be a religion of peace as well...but you have zealots who have reinterpreted religion to suit their personal goals.

Yes Christianity is a religion of peace, God sent his Son Jesus Christ to die on a Cross for our sins. In addition he also preached of tolerance and forgiveness, he healed the sick and raised the dead. Christianity did not become a religion of war until it was embraced by the Roman. That is when wars were fought in the name of Christ. The Roman Catholic Church philosophy was to kill all that were perceived as non christian or a threat to the Roman Catholic church.which I find extremely funny that they fought all these wars in the name of Christ but would not stand up to the Nazi in WW2
So the truth be known on true Christianity is the religion of peace

Christianity, of course. Nations that embrace it tend to see long periods of BOTH peace, prosperity and protection. The USA being a prime example. In well over 200 years, we've had to fight, at MOST, two existential wars.

The society of Novus Spiritus.
"The way of all peace is to scale the mountain of Self. Loving others makes the climb down easier. We see all things darkly until love lights the lamp of the Soul."
The above words form the first tenet of Novus Spiritus. Within them lies the basic philosophy of the Society, namely: Life is a long journey of discovery, wherein each person must meet - and love - themselves, overcome their own fears, and learn the truth about loving. It is a process of perfecting the innate, God-given beauty of the Soul. It is a process of internal peace.

Yes, Islam. Why? Just read the Quran. And please, the real Quran! Not something of the internet. A lot of the time, that's just people making up stuff. Go to a library or somewhere, and just buy and read a Quran please. Hope this helped!

There are the Quakers and similar ones that refuse to go to war no matter what the cause. Of course the man rules the home/farm. Check them out.
I know there is another or two, but the name is not coming to me.
Shakers do not believe in war or sex.

Buddhism impresses me as being very peaceful. And Islam in it's simplest form (NOT what the jackasses in the middle east are doing) is also peaceful. Christianity seems far too coercive these days but in it's simplest form it also has peace at it's roots.

Buddhism--there is no god to worship. The whole point of Buddhism is to free yourself from desire.
Christianity certainly isn't one. Any religion that tries to spread its own "truth" at the expense of others' is not a peaceful one.
