Or, how threatened do you feel by any of the ways that science influences your life?
Note: Is your belief system threatened by contradictions with certain scientific explainations of the universe? Or, this may concern secular topics, such as consumer safety in products that utilize emerging technology.

Do you think most of the "experiments" scientists talk about are really scams to make money from those foolish enough to listen?

Do you think the scientific community is intentionally presenting false information in order to suppress religion?

How do you manage to disregard the vast amount of proof that supports a scientific theory?

Is the difficulty of a "test of faith" directly related to the amount of proof that one must ignore by which to pass the test?

God is the greatest scientist of all. Why would Christians be threatened?. The scientific world just can't back up some claims they have made, but on the other hand they have contributed much to humanity.

If you are looking for people who are trying to suppress religion (I prefer to say, have a relationship with Jesus Christ), then look at the World Leaders first. Yes, and some of the scientists are in cahoots with them. See sites like Alex Jones Infowars, read David Icke (although he is not a christian), he's got the message right. Check out Bill Cooper and Maxwell. Science is no threat to our faith in Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ or our belief in God.

because of the bomb, and all the lives taken in every war, very very evil. But it is not science that is evil. It is the men who invent it.

Because of all the medical break-throughs and all the conveniences (not all of them are good, they do have imperfections---for instance the car uses more oxygen in an hour than 40 elephants in a year, and cars also can break down and leave you stranded or in a bad accident, but that too, can be attributed to man's imperfections) I would say our quality of life has been improved. Everything regarding medicine has begun in the realm of religion because at the beginning, in primitive society, religion and everything else was inseparable. Every herb on Earth was for our benefit.

Of course science is wicked... how can anyone think otherwise? Science relies on 'reason' and 'knowledge'... not on the word of God... the ILLUSION of knowledge. Knowledge is the enemy or religion... and as a primary source of knowledge (along with history), science must be discredited, misrepresented... even destroyed, if possible. Let the ILLUSION of knowledge prevail.

But... you don't have to take my word for it... you just have to listen to one of the most famous and influential churchmen of all time:

"Reason must be deluded, blinded, and destroyed. Faith must trample underfoot all reason, sense, and understanding, and whatever it sees must be put out of sight and... know nothing but the word of God." ~ Martin Luther

"Reason is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but... more frequently than not... struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God." ~ Martin Luther

"Reason should be destroyed in all Christians." ~ Martin Luther

"To be a Christian, you must 'p l u c k out the eye of reason'." ~ Martin Luther

"There is on earth among all dangers no more dangerous thing than a richly endowed and adroit reason, especially if she enters into spiritual matters which concern the soul and God. For it is more possible to teach an a** (donkey) to read than to blind such a reason and lead it right; for reason must be deluded, blinded, and destroyed." ~ Martin Luther

Imagine stone-age people living in a dark damp cave. They eat whatever they can find in the woods. Their clothes are animal skins draped over their shoulders.
Now look around at the houses of today, the cars, airplanes, cell phones, this computer.
The difference is science.
Would you prefer religion and the cave, or science and the computer ?

Science is not wicked at all. It is in search of truth and that is always a righteous thing. Ultimately science is the study of God Himself.
What is wicked is denying facts because they might reveal the truth.

Romans 1
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

I am afraid for mankind because of the abuse of science... not of science... All science is from God... the laws of the physical universe(science) were put in place by God to govern the functions of His creation.

If mankind understood even 10% of God's Science all of mankind would be living in peace and plenty as God intended.

Don't be silly. Science isn't wicked. MAN is. Science is just a way to look at creation and try to understand its workings, its modus operandi, with a view to obtaining a better life as a result of a better understanding.

science isn't wicked, it has helped a lot of people prolong life and have benefited man with medicine... it becomes wicked when man has replaced it as a God. It depends on the person of whom they want to worship, science or the true God.
