As a Catholic, I believe I should not lose my virginity until I am married. I am not married yet, because I have not found the right guy, even though I'm 21 already.
The thing is, I think I might have lost my virginity. I was learning to ride a motorbike, so I can go biking with my friends, and my friend let me borrow hers to learn on. When I was sitting on it, with the engine running, I got this intense feeling, a good feeling.
So I revved the engine up some more and the feeling got so intense, I could barely breathe.
After that I couldn't stop doing it, so my friend had to pull me off the bike.
Was this wrong? Please help me, because I'd find it embarrassing to tell a priest about it, especially if I haven't sinned.

To all of you who think this is some sort of joke. You cannot imagine how much you have hurt me, by being insensitive to my embarrassment.
After all, YOU didn't have to walk home in a soaking wet pair of jeans, getting stared at and heckled by everyone I know on the way.
Thank you retroactyv for your advice, you have been more helpful than you think. Maybe I should stick to my bicycle from now on.

You know I'm not too sure. I'm not Catholic, not even Christian, so I can only tell you what I think, and not what I know.
I think that losing virginity is defined as something only a man can do to you. Even if you 'succumb to carnal pleasure', you would still be a virgin, unless a man was involved.
If I were you, I'd avoid motorbikes, because if your friend hadn't pulled you off, you might have ended up losing all control. Imagine what that would mean if you were actually 'on the road' (which I presume you weren't).
I just sympathise with your friend mostly, because a bike THAT powerful must have an expensive seat. Surely she didn't enjoy cleaning it.
I don't think you have sinned, although I'd be interested to see what Catholics say. Perhaps they would be more helpful to you than I have been.
Although you'd be the first person I've ever heard of to have sex with an actual bike. I'm familiar with the expression 'the local bike', but that normally describes someone who ummm.. 'gets around'.
If you still want to ride bikes, I'd suggest finding some way of reducing your clitoral sensitivity first, otherwise you could end up endangering your life in the throes of passion. I affectionately call it 'coming and going'.
May peace go with you throughout your life.

That is not a sin against God. Your feelings were only arosed when you rode or sat on the sit of the motor bike and that is natural for a woman because of the friction from your private parts on the sit. It will also come true when you will have a horse back riding. You feel the sweet feeling as if you are being touch in your private parts by your boyfriend or husband if there would be.
You do not need to tell the preist about a sin from another person. You directly ask apology or forgiveness to the person whom you have committed a mistake or sin. Then ask forgiveness direct to God but not on the priest because the priest has no authority to forgive your sins against another person. He is also human being like who can commit the same offense which you have committed..Confessing a sin to the priest is not biblical.
When you lost your virginity through pre marital sex is a sin but through the story which you have narrated, you probably did not commit a sin., yet you are still a virgin although maybe your hymen has been broken or has been wounded through riding on a bike, through riding on a horse back or through climbing straight trees without using stairs or having too wide in opening your hips far apart.jtm

First of all,why would you tell a priest anything?Second of all, where in the BIBLE does it say confess to a priest?A priest is 100% USELESS and can do nothing for you.Riding a bike is NOT a sin.You do NOT need to get married by age 21 either. You are still a virgin if you have NOT had sex yet.Wait until you are married.PLEASE check out:

No, you didn't sin, you just had normal human feelings. We all have the so called sex drive, and learn to deal with it. Yes it is a good thing to hold onto your virginity until you are married, because when you do get married you will be able to release all these pent up emotions, with your husband. That is a wonderful part of marriage that God has given us. Good luck and don't worry, they are just natural feelings.

Hun, no virginity lost,,,,,but you got a taste of SOMETHING,,,,
and no, I do not believe you should have to tell a priest about it,,,,,you can sit on your couch and talk to God, you don't have to humiliate yourself or do penance for having an overly joyful experience on a motorcycle, rest easy,,,,
a truly accidental pleasure!
Be blessed,,

No you didn't lose your virginity.
You might want to read up on human sexuality, even though you don't intend to have sex until you're married.
