Excerpt from an answer on a previous question: "suppose you created a beautiful masterpiece work of art... what if you decided to destroy it? You created it, you have every right."

He was using that as an analogy to explain why God has the right to kill humans, His creations.

Does that right extend to human beings? Are they allowed to destroy what they create? ANYTHING they create?

I only ask because I've been told certain groups are contacting their Y? allies to ask for votes when a question goes to group voting.

As for me, what matters most is what's written in the question and answers. Everyone knows "Best answer" is subjective and anyone with a sincere desire for information is not going to allow that to influence their thinking. I guess influencing a best answer outcome in this way is a fun time filler for people with nothing better to do, but I doubt it really makes anyone who is reading for information think differently.
What do you think?

Is there any proof in history or in your experiences where fabricated lies can become established as fact and accepted by all as truth if repeated frequently and convincingly enough?

The fact is that the whole human race is on death row, justly condemned for repeatedly breaking God's holy law. Without Jesus we would have no hope at all. But thank God! He has made a way for us, where there was no way.
Jesus said: I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE
no one comes to the Father, but through me.

Are you on death row, or have you received forgiveness of sins, through Jesus Christ. All you have to do is ask, and repent (turn away from your sinful ways), and make Jesus Lord of your life, instead of living to please your own selfish ways.

See, I've been told many times that "this is God's house... why should he have to allow people to behave badly in his house?"

Usually this is given in response to a question like: "Why is God beyond reproach when he has people slaughtered for mocking him?"

Some have answered that ideas are only good as long as "the person who has them has breath in their body."

Is this true, or do ideas have a life outside of their creator, and have the ability to continue on after their creator's last breath?

Horatio Nelson existed, but not Jesus Christ.
Yet we celebrate His birth, His death and resurrection, and ascension, unlike other people in history.
The Bible says, that people's eyes are blinded to the truth about Jesus by satan.
Surely its worth taking a serious look about the claims of Christianity, which has eternal implications and consequences!
Don't you think it's interesting that people bypass this, and yet the Bible says, There is a way that seems right unto man, but in the end it leads to death.
Worth giving serious thought to these issues - don't you think?

I know many here in R&S do not believe in the supernatural, but could an idea be considered as a type of supernatural material/element? It is not physical (arguably), and ideas cannot be quantified, or measured, so are they "supernatural?"

It takes a certain amount of "mental energy" to form and process an idea. Does this "mental energy" form spiritual articles into corporeality?

We look alot at moving ourselves into spirit, knowing and tasting and touching ourselves there (lol)

What of knowing Self as Spirit, and drawing Spirit here?
Could you walk yourself as Spirit here?

Is your house clean enough, is your heart clear enough?
who is it that would judge???

Would you need 5 more minutes to get it right, and then 5 more, and just a few more....
or could you bow your head and offer up all that you are, as you stand, no do-overs.....

what do you think this position would create for you?
How would you walk yourself as Spirit incarnate, conscious that you are Spirit, not veiled......

please tell me what you know of this, what you would like to know
and how can you get there from here, I wonder......

It´s not too late. Just accept what your eyes see. Go for first hand experience. Don´t use sandal-clad obsolete concepts that don´t apply in a world of microwaves and rocket fuel.
Don´t give in to cults, sects and religions. They are only balm for the mind in search of a nonexistent hug and they don´t cure your ailments, nor do they elevate you to some sacred state.
Free yourself of the scourge of the mind. Blow your crossnailed idols to bits and LIVE.
So are you ready to lead your life as a reponsible species member? Or are we to stay the laughingstock of the galaxy? (If there are any aliens watching, they must be cracking up...)

What is all this about the trinity:
God the Father
God the Son
The Holy Spirit

So your saying God is a son, how can that be possible

You say Jesus is the son of god, how is that possible, if God can have a "son", than that makes him equal to us mere humans,

Can anyone explain this issues?
