Did Sir Francis Drake live over 2 millenia ago and claim to be a messiah? Did Christopher Columbus walk across the Atlantic Ocean and turn it into wine on his way? Did Horatio Nelson rise from the grave? No? Then why should we doubt their existence, as compared to the specious history of otherwise ordinary man?

I agree with you , but the problem is , that those , who deny the very existence of Jesus or God, are the same folks , who think it a waste of time to pick up a bible and read it , therefore they cannot know the truth.

Is Jesus found in many history books? Muhammad mentions him in the Koran but only as another prophet. Other than religious teachings what did Jesus do that would be recorded in non-religious history? All people die - Jesus died as a criminal along with the other two. There is no proof that he arose from the dead, but there is actual proof that Columbus discovered new lands. People celebrate Christmas for many reasons and would continue to do so even if it were called Xmas.

And *what* do people believe about Francis Drake and Christopher Columbus? There are some amazing myths that have accreted into "knowledge" about them and made it into written text.
I'd have said "incredible" myths except that are so often believed.
Your argument is, at best, deeply flawed.
(Francis Drake and the Spanish Armada...
Have you tried to separate truth from legend?
Have you for the foundation of Christianity?)

I know. People choose the only perfect person in history, to reject. The Jews rebelled, this generation is rebelling, and the future generations will rebell against him until he comes back again. When that happens, everyone one will know the truth, and every knee will bow.
People can be unreasonable.

They even ignore the fact of BC and AD where time was divided because of Christ.
Their minds have been seared.
The US Constitution is signed "In the year of our Lord," and they ignore this in America. They ignore "Endowed by our Creator."
They refuse to believe that Thomas Jefferson was Christian and would turn over in his grave if he knew that his words of "separation of church and state" would have been discerned as the Godhaters use it. At one time in this great country no man held office if he wasn't Christian. America is not America without its Christian heritage. Our forefathers believed that who God said free was free indeed. Too much Christianity is written into the heritage of this country. For the past 50 years the believers in Evolution have done everything that they can to push this Christian heritage out.

Oh I'm sure Jesus Christ did exist. I just don't believe he was anything other than a common human man. But then again, I'm not a christian.
And besides, JC was born and died 2000+ years ago, right? People like Drake and Columbus were born a LOT later, when records were kept more accurately.

"Frances" is a feminine form of the name. The last name ought to begin with an upper-case letter.
Come back and debate these thorny issues when you've mastered basic English.

People that don't believe Jesus existed and preformed miracles (or magic depending on what you believe) are simply uneducated, there is a wealth of non-biblical historical documents detailing Jesus' life.
