the clouds of our consciousness that he is living on earth more firmly that if he came as one person? And that by Him living within us, we can bring Heaven to Earth rather than watch it be destroyed or escape from it?

God defined as the one in the OT. The Abraham and Job God.

Science, represented by the men who developed the atomic bomb. The ones who acknowledged that, if they tested their brainchild, it might set fire to the atmosphere of the planet earth.

But tested it anyway.

Job got rid of his sores.
Abraham's kid got a reprieve.
The burst at the Trinity Site didn't turn the earth into a small star.

I'd put them about equal for desirability and trustworthiness.

A bright future? I'll hunker down wish humanity the best of a bad bargain.

How about you?

Even if you haven't read Camus' thoughts on him, do you think that he represents only frustration, or can there be purpose and value in his actions, even when doomed to frustration?

''these six things the LORD hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him:'' proverbs 6:16 (nkjv)

is there some kind of poetic meaning that i'm not catching here? why would solomon write it that way, mentioning ''six,'' before ''seven''? i just answered a question about the meaning of proverbs 6, and it made me think of this. i've always wondered about it. there's at least one other passage in the book of proverbs (though i can't think of which one it is right now) that starts out the same way. any thoughts?

That would be hysterical, they would have no clue what's happening.

Then again, they'd probably have all of our accounts deleted.

Why does the pope in rome not sell off all the vast wealth from the Vatican city and use the money to help others? Isnt this what "God" would do? Or do you feel that if Jesus Christ returned to earth tomorrow, he'd be quite happy to live in luxury and Grandeur like the pope et al are doing now?

Watch the mountain turn to dust and blow away.

Everyone we’ve got to get together.
Love’s the only thing that matters anyhow
And the beauty of life can only survive
If we love one another.

Yesterday my friends were marchin’ out to war, oh, yeah
Listen now, we still are marchin’ evermore,
No, he ain’t qualified, only God has that right
To decide who’s to live and die.

Watch the mountain turn to dust and blow away, oh, Lord
You know there’s got to be a better way
And the old masquerade is a no-show parade
Marchin’ through the ruins of time
To save us, He gave us

Sweet wine
So very fine

if we learn to love one another,
and hate those whose time has come.

It surprises me that people look at all that has unfolded since the beginning the year, and even before that. This bridge collapse was the latest harbinger of things to come. All of these engineers and scientists are scratching their heads trying to come up with an explanation, but no one blames God.

So many athiests out there today who really have no clue about what Athiesm is. Where do we draw the line? These people have been hurting our perception by the public for years, by being completely ignorant to what they actually beleive.

How does a Christian defend his relegion without knowledge of Christianity?

Its the same with Atheism. How do you defend your right to not follow something you don't beleive when you don't even know what your trying to say.

People do not take athiests seriously because of foolish children and young adults who use it as an excuse to get out of church and temple.

Where do we draw the line and say "Listen, get your facts straight before saying that you are atheist."

I am going to a church retreat for 4 days and would like the kids to feel welcome but not so hyper i have to chase them all day long and don't reap the benefits of going for myself!
We have meetings that are 2 hours long and I know that it is hard for kids to sit still for that long, so, I want them to stay in the meeting and not disturb anyone else also!

I wanted to make friends with some pretty Muslim girls. So after school was over I smiled at one really pretty girl named Manzura. She smiled back, and that night when the night watchman went to sleep Manzura and I had sex. Unfortunately the night watchman woke up and nabbed us. The police came and I agreed to convert to Islam and marry Manzura. After everything calmed down instead of circumsizing me the Mullahs amputated my private baby-making part. Now I am "Half A Singh" and can never have sex. Who can I sue: the Madrassa; nightwatchman; government of Pakistan; the Babar Khalsa organization that hired me to clean the lavatories/toilets; or all of them? Under the Shariah Law of Pakistan a non-Muslim has no rights but now since I am Jatinderpalullah Hasan Singh Harfbullah, a Muslim I should be able to. What do you think? Any advice?

I'm assuming atheists sneeze just like everybody else. However, when a fundamentalist sneezes another fundamentalist always says "God Bless You." God hears the prayer and blesses the sneezer.

If God didn't bless the sneezer, his/her soul would escape through the sneeze and he would be forced to live the rest of his life a soulless bloodsucker. Also, Lucifer (D-Hell) snatches up souls floating in the air and they belong to him for eternity.

When atheists say "God Bless You" to one another, God doesn't listen and lets their souls escape their bodies. Therefore, any atheist who has sneezed in the presence of other atheists has lost his/her soul.

I posted a question using the 80% Christian population. I do have links to back it up but this is a stat that I also got from OTHER Christians on this site when using the arguement that we are a Christian Nation and that the world is mainly Christian. I don't think those numbers are right, but I digress.
After posting this, I was told by CHRISTIANS that the number isn't correct ad that the number of Christians is MUCH lower. So if its MUCH lower then why all the ruckus about being a Christiant nation????
