Lets ask the man himself:

Albert Einstein to The Saturday Evening Post, 1929:

To what extent are you influenced by Christianity?

"As a child I received instruction both in the Bible and in the Talmud. I am a Jew, but I am enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene."

Have you read Emil Ludwig's book on Jesus?

"Emil Ludwig's Jesus is shallow. Jesus is too colossal for the pen of phrasemongers, however artful. No man can dispose of Christianity with a bon mot."

You accept the historical Jesus?

"Unquestionably! No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life."

I'm seriously wondering this. Do you feel happy? Justified? Does it make you sad?

Thanks.

a tidbit from it: Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks? The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come.

When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm. When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God.

Instead of insisting on what YOU believe. Have you ever stopped and put yourself in the otherside's perspective to see where they are coming from?

And ask, what make the otherside's perspective non feasible?

If not, then just open your mouth, talk to God and say I"m sorry, I've ignored you for so long and I now see how tremendously you love me, please forgive me and take me under your wing and care for me and be Lord of my life. that is it !!!!!!!!!!!

Give me the sense to wonder
To wonder if Im free
Give me a sense of wonder
To know I can be me
Give me the strength to hold my head up
Spit back in their face
Dont need no key to unlock this door
Gonna break down the walls
Break out of this bad place

A politician died and arrived at the Pearly Gates. ST. Peter said, we haven't really decided what to do with you yet so we are going to give you a week in heaven and then a week in hell and let you decide. So after the week in heaven, he said to St. Peter, "it was nice in heaven and all, but kind of boring compared to my life on earth I think I'd like to see my buddies in hell", so down he went. After a week, St. Peter contacted him and he said "Wow it is great here,we can still plunder, rape, and frolic sexually so I think I choose hell" So St Peter said, well then hell it is so off you go. When the guy arrived back in hell it was real hell of fire and brimstone and the politician called St Peter and said "'what happened" and St. Peter said, oh your first visit was just our "campaign trail of hell"
Moral of this joke ??? Do you really want to spit in God's face and go to hell??????????????//

Seven deadly sins
Seven ways to win
Seven holy paths to hell
And your trip begins

Seven downward slopes
Seven bloodied hopes
Seven are your burning fires
Seven your desires....

Are you willing to concede that the problem is not God or Christianity, but instead it was a person or a group of people who are acting out on their own selfish ambition? Often they are twisting scriptures or using scriptures to justify their hatred?

I was born and raised in a Christian family. I grew up in church. For the first 19 years of my life I was a true believer. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and saviour. I was baptised. I read and studied the bible from cover to cover. I prayed and I prayed and I prayed, and then I prayed some more.

16 years ago I came to my senses. I am now 35 years old and an atheist. The rest of my family, however, remains diehard believers. My mother, father, brother, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles... they are all still Christians. I am the only one in my entire family who has abandoned those ideas.

You can't tell me I don't know and understand Christianity. I understand it far better than anyone who still believes in it.

what did islam ever do to them? i dont think islam hijacked a plane and crashed it into the pentagons. it was some guys who happen to be muslim, but you have to blame them and not their religion. what if it was a christian guy who hijacked the plane and crached it into the pentagon? would you then blame christianity or the people who did it? blaming islam for what a muslim guy did makes no sense at all. all of you islam haters think before you hate.

I have been dealt a huge blow and I study each day Daily manna and heartlight verses that arrive or go to their web site. One day in the last few months there was a verse that had I think a commentary with it that said "watch out, what you are about the encounter is bigger than you can handle" does this sound like any Bible verse that you can suggest that could lead me back to what I read, my soul is desperate for it today. thanks in God's love WEndy
