why do people hate islam?

what did islam ever do to them? i dont think islam hijacked a plane and crashed it into the pentagons. it was some guys who happen to be muslim, but you have to blame them and not their religion. what if it was a christian guy who hijacked the plane and crached it into the pentagon? would you then blame christianity or the people who did it? blaming islam for what a muslim guy did makes no sense at all. all of you islam haters think before you hate.

The problem is that all the people who did the terrorists acts are Muslims! And they are Islamic followers and they DO IT IN THE NAME OF ISLAM.

At the same time, all the other Muslims didn't really do much to stop them. They just voiced disapproval, Surely they could have taken drastic action to oppose these terrorists?

Besides, while the average man in the street is reeling over the effects of the terrorists acts, more terrorist acts followed.

I also don't think anyone in London or LA likes the average Muslim woman to cover herself from head to toe. It is so alien and unfriendly. This is NOT part of our society.

All Muslims can claim is that this is their religion, but how can the average American or European allow this type of lifestyle (covering from head to toe) seep into their lives?

Don't demand respect. Prove that you can be respected first.

Hi! I'm a Muslim and I don't think all Christians are bad. There are Christians that are kind. I even have Christian friends! I've read all the comments here and it seems that lots of them are bad mouthing Islam, but it's what they think! they just don't understand Islam and just jump into conclusions. You see, the Quran doesn't tell us to kill! Quran actually band us to kill! When there's people who doesn't want to convert to Islam, we just let them be. It's their decision, not ours. Maybe they would convert to Islam someday. We don't like to war. On the earlier era, we fought war because the other side challenges us. Not just that, we can't just start war with our own will, we need premition from the God first. The Muslim that time was being shunned from home because they say 'Allah is our only God!' And lot's of non-Muslim bullies us, but we just need to be patient. But if it goes to far, it's okay to war. Quran and Hadist also told us that we need to respect other religions to! We need to be kind to all living beings, even the non-Muslims. Our religion is strict with lots of rules, but it's because the God cares about us. Now, everyone should stop criticizing other religion, and let's just see who's right in the end when it's the end of all time shall we? :)

In Europe we do not blame Islam for crazy terrorists killing people. You are being prejudice my friend.
Don't believe what the newspaper implicate. The media is fooling you.
In Europe there is freedom of religion and we all live and grow up together, every race and every religion.
Nobody hates Islam. Islam is part of European culture since hundreds of years ago.

Brother they listen to the media and Bush who tell them what to believe. The media says Islam is bad just because of the Taliban in Afghanistan so the western feminists want to go into the Middle East and "Liberate" the Muslim women when they don't need liberated. They need people in their countries who will see that they have rights according to the Qur'an and start treating them like humans. As for 9/11 yes there were some "Muslims" but they weren't real Muslims they were Muslim in name only and will be punished Insha ALLAH. If you have reports about "good Muslims" instead of "bad Muslims" it lowers your ratings on the TV so to keep the money coming in and to keep their TV show on the air they make it seem like Islam is a cult and that Muslims all 1.7 billion of them are evil. Yes that is wrong and not all Muslims are evil. Only a few are but the media isn't going to portray the truth to the Western public. People fear what they don't understand and many Western people don't bother to research Islam on the Internet from true reliable sources and don't bother to get in touch with Muslims in their communities which only fuels the fire and hate towards Islam and the Ummah. Even when we speak out they choose not to listen. May ALLAH(SWT) help them see the truth and see past the lies of the media and may ALLAH(SWT) help the Ummah. We as Muslims just have to keep speaking out, and pray that these non Muslims see the truth and encourage non Muslims to visit our Masjids(with permission from the Imam) and give them accurate non biased Muslim books, videos, and websites on Islam.

Bro, I grew up in Dearborn, MI check the Muslim stats on that, plus so is my step dad, he's full blooded Egyptian, but before all that I didn't have a problem with Islam and I still don't. I think more and more people are beginning to accept it was just an extremist group, that claimed themselves to be Muslim, sure they worshiped Allah, but all over Imams are saying these people and the acts that they have done are a disgrace to the name of Islam. Fortunately we are as a whole nation are becoming more exponentially tolerable.

Seven buildings collapsed that means five buildings collapsed without anything hitting them! In the plane that the passengers rebelled a man rang his mother and said hello mum my name is and gave his name does anyone ring his mother and give their name? Also the technology for a phone call at that level of flight wasn't made then!!

Those who hate it are ignorant or most likely scared of the power of Islam cus deep inside themselves they know that it is the right path but their ignorance won't allow them to accept this fact. I think 9/11 is a conspiracy against Islam, terrorist countries are using 9/11 as an excuse to invade and conquer Muslim countries.

i agree people just think whatever crap they see on tv is true and they never get the true meaning of islam just because some people think that islam is not trust worthy because just somother muslim people did somthing wrong but that does not mean every single muslim person is wrong and people dont see jews or christian people on tv cause they always stand together and if they did anything it will never be shown and the blame would on muslims which is not fair at all!

Because the ones that blow themselves up always claim to do it in name of islam. And all of them shout how great allah is before they blow themselves and many other people and children into bits and pieces. Ask your allah how he could write a book that can be read like this.
