A politician died and arrived at the Pearly Gates. ST. Peter said, we haven't really decided what to do with you yet so we are going to give you a week in heaven and then a week in hell and let you decide. So after the week in heaven, he said to St. Peter, "it was nice in heaven and all, but kind of boring compared to my life on earth I think I'd like to see my buddies in hell", so down he went. After a week, St. Peter contacted him and he said "Wow it is great here,we can still plunder, rape, and frolic sexually so I think I choose hell" So St Peter said, well then hell it is so off you go. When the guy arrived back in hell it was real hell of fire and brimstone and the politician called St Peter and said "'what happened" and St. Peter said, oh your first visit was just our "campaign trail of hell"
Moral of this joke ??? Do you really want to spit in God's face and go to hell??????????????//

So the moral of the story is that the heaven you described is also a "campaign trail"? Think about it. God killed the first born children in Egypt because the CHOSE to believe the way they did. So if read the bible, you will see that God insists on they way we are supposed to think and behave. That means he is really a dictator and thus heaven is a dictatorship.

Why are you so angry? Why do you keep asking if people want to continue to spit in God's face and go to hell? God is a loving God. God is not some angry parent. God offers UNCONDITIONAL love, that means no matter what we do, no matter what we say, God still loves us. As humans I don't think we can fully understand that, but please stop with the hateful questions.

This is a poor excuse for a witnessing tool. Amazing that things like this are used to win people to a "loving God" when all that is presented are threats and ultimatums. Gee, makes me want to run to church.

Seems more like the moral is "do I really want to be voting in a supposedly democratic society for an implicit oligarchy of scoundrels, liars and thieves?"

Yes, I really want to spit in your god's face and go to hell. Your god is a monster in the first place.

I think I like the "Bill Gates" version of the joke better -- where Satan describes the fun version of hell as the "beta version"....
