at least in the one charles manson had, the people didn't worship and pray to imaginary gods.

and don't even bring up the killing part of it. because more people have died of the premise of 'under God' than any other reason in history.

I know the general and most logical answer is Moses but is he truly the author of the first four books of the Old Testament?

bad stuff began in 1799

jesus invisibly came back to earth in 1874

1914 was meant to be the time when everything went really bad, but then it was postponed until 1915... then 1918... then 1920... then 1925... then within the generation of 1914... and now it's imminent

the only way i can save myself is to knock on people's doors

Did Germans really believe that god was on their side? Did every side of that war believe that God was on their side? Doesn't the bible say "If god is for me, who can be against me?" If god is always on the winner's side, does that mean he favored the Vietnamese over the Americans?

Atheists believe in evolution, right? So how exactly would a flying spaghetti monster evolve? I know that there are spaghetti monsters that can't fly who live on the Island of Conclusions (you have to jump to it.)

However, I can't see any possible selective pressure that would have caused a regular spaghetti monster to evolve the ability to fly. Can someone please explain how this works to me?

Hahaha! You thought I was a crazy Christian going off on Athiests.... but I'm not. I actually accept that people have different beliefs than me, and even though i dont agree with those beliefs, they need to be respected. We'd be a bunch of animals if we didnt respect eachother. Every Christian that i know or that goes to my church (Methodist) would never be outright mean or disrespectful to someone with different beliefs or try to force them down their throats. Some Christians act otherwise though ( I am talking about the people who SCREAM and yell at non beievers how they are going to hell) So yeah i just wanted to tell people that those kind Christians are the minority and apparently dont follow the teachings of Jesus. If you have ever read the bible, Jesus didnt scream and shout and stalk people who didnt believe in God. Those people give Christians a bad name. Fellow Christians, who agrees?

Just to tell us the Bible is not true. Not only that then atheists go into detail on which parts of the Bible are false. Do you really think Christians are going to listen to your BS and say yea" Sparky" you got me convinced.

Would you care to tell me how the New Testament is any more important than the Old Testament, or why the reduction in the number of public executions is actually how god intended it to be, why don't we kill the drunk disobedient children in the streets, why don't we hold public executions for various other reason.

Is it because religions like to pick and choose, is it because "Times have changed", if it is well then I'm sorry to say that the Old Testament hasn't changed, we see the constitution being amended but we don't see the great Bible being subject to "change".

How do you justify your unbiblical actions, and before you say it also says to love your fellow man, remember that he who is without sin shall cast the first stone (at the sinner of course).

So the question is:

Do you agree that it is common sense or it is part of your religion to ignore violent and unsavoury parts of both testaments because "times have changed", or for some other reason, and please elaborate.

We treat each other like sh-t all the time. When a bridge collapses and some people die, everyone acts sad. But if the bridge hadn't collapsed, and if they were still alive, you would still be treating them like sh-t. So tell me, what is it about death that makes you start to care about people all of a sudden?

We all know that the linguist M. Adjineri has proven that anagrams of a word always form a description of that word. (It's called the Law of the Excluded Riddle)

For example, Sir Alec Guiness anagrams to Genuine Class because Alec Guiness has class.

How about this one:

"evolutionist"

rearranges to form

"i live on stout"

Stout is a kind of beer. Guinness is a stout (But Alec Guinness is not stout).

This proves that all evolutionists are alcoholics thus proving that evolution is wrong. It also explains why they drink every time I ask a question.

There is a hadith from the Prophet saying: "Verily, my companions are like stars; whomever of them you follow, you will be properly guided."
Abu'l-Fida writes in his history that these four men, who were companions of the Prophet, abstained, along with Ali, from paying allegiance to Abu Bakr, on the Saqifa day. Why don't you consider their refusal to pay allegiance to be worthy of emulation? Sunni ulema have written that they were loved by Allah and His Prophet. We follow them, as they followed Ali. Hence, according to Sunni hadith, we (Shia) are on the path of guidance.
