in the "Cherubic Hymn" of the Byzantine Liturgy, she celebrates the memory of certain angels more particularly (St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael, and the guardian angels).
From its beginning until death, human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession. Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life. Already here on earth the Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God.

no. dont believe in such things. It would be nice to think there is, but wanting something to be and it actually being real are not the same. Do all the children in darfour have guardian angels?

My mum always told me that she had a guardian angel and he was a black ( sorry, person of colour) man. She had never seen him but a gypsy told her about him. My mum has had many problems in her life but has always got over them so there must be something in it.

Yes I do.I saw an angel once and it was a beautiful experience and I am glad I got to have the experience.

I have had encounters where the only explanation had to be spiritual. Yes I do firmly
believe in angels,Just as I firmly believe in God.

I know that there are "guardian" angels, however, I haven't seen one physically. I have seen the effects of them though.

I really don't get the point in them. I mean, apparantly God will take you whenever he wants to so what's the point? And why does God need guardian angels to protect his children to begin with?

I bought my first one when I was 22. They've kept me STD free ever since! What, oh, you said GUARDIAN angel... I thought you said, oh, never-mind...
