Hey, I'm a Christian and having been having trouble trusting God with a lot of really big stuff. This is the worst time to lose faith because I know He is able to do stuff if you just believe but these tasks just seem like they're too much to ask. The biggest thing is paying for college. I want to go into chemical engineering but am having trouble with getting scholarships because I messed up badly my freshman year of high school. Please pray for me that God provides the money and that I can find faith again. I'm posting this also for advice on overcoming this doubt. I know He's big enough to handle anything but I just don't whole heartedly believe it and keep saying "Yeah, right."

Since Paganism is the first religion, then how can you say "The Bible" is true? In truth since Paganism is the first religion then how is it possible that Adam and Eve could have been the first two people seeing they believed in "God". And saying so then in retrospect wouldn't that disprove "The Bible" all together. Then again let's review the fact if there were only two people at the begging then that would mean everyone is responsible for incest which is against the rules of "the Bible". So where does "The Bible" tell the truth?

This question is basically for someone who believes in God. If you don't then don't answer this with rude remarks. Anyways, for those of you who do ;; when do you think God is coming back to earth to get all the people who are saved ? I wonder how many more generations to come. And no one can truly answer this but just some suggestions.

Why or why not? I am a Christian and so is my boyfriend but we are having an argument about this. He claims the bible doesn't actually state "no sex before marriage". Is "sexual immorality" the same thing? How can I convince him biblically?

Why can't you atheists accept the bible when it makes such perfect sense!?

-The entire mankind must suffer because Adam&Eve ate a fruit! So make sure to also call your friend a thief if his great, great, great grandfather was thief

-Cain was Adam&Eve's first son! He then married a Lady(who came from?....well who cares) YOU DARE QUESTION GOD??!!

-Every living flesh was destroyed in the great flood! So the whales stayed alive in the ark with no water! "And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark." Isn't that miraculous of God?!

With all this and you still don't believe in the Bible??!!

"he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation;' because they said, 'He has an unclean spirit'"

"Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come"

I blaspheme the Holy Sprit!!! I cannot be saved....... Why even bother with me?

I was thinking with the thousands of years that span across the bible, and the many different authors, how did the Bible we have today come to being? Does anyone know how all the writings were kept together? Or who put them all together?

If you have sources please add them

Okay, so you're new to Christianity and you're seeking a place of worship. You take a walk down the street and come to a crossroads. On the left, there's a huge white stone church, on the right, there's a lake, some ducks and a field of flowers, ahead of you, there's a beautiful temple, and directly behind you, there's a modern worship hall.

What church is right?

I am a Christian, However after reading in Q&A I have seen a lot of People bashing nonbeliever for their right to choose..Why is that? Where you born a Christian? I know it goes both ways but, I Love God and it is hurtful to see people in the name of God lack compassion and Love. Where is it in the bible that we are to convince the nonbeliever? verse please. Last time I checked we were to lead by example.(to cause someone to inquire of our conversion) To share the Word with those who haven't heard the Word. A lot of these nonbelievers have read the bible and have chosen not to believe. It is up to GOD to awaken a soul and than Christians to lead this person to Christ under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, not the spirit of disgust. This type of behavior is what the nonbelievers are talking about, they have a right to choose. Unfortunately it is a shame that a few a angry people under the title of Christian have caused so much pain through the years causing wars and justifying abuse.. Lets don't let a few people that are manipulators no matter what title of belief they fall under make Christians look like Christ is not alive in us. And if you have caused one soul to be lost through all of your ranting and raving... do you really care? Or is it because it doesn't matter what you believe, we all just need to believe it also, YIKES...May the Spirit-filled Christians step up to the plate and demonstrate Gods love.. That is the proof that he has RISEN

For we know not the heart of man only God does

Before you leave, I have a question for you all.

Why Atheists refuse faith and tend to relay on evidence?

Thank you for doing me the favor, and also thank you for answering my question.
