Hey, I'm a Christian and having been having trouble trusting God with a lot of really big stuff. This is the worst time to lose faith because I know He is able to do stuff if you just believe but these tasks just seem like they're too much to ask. The biggest thing is paying for college. I want to go into chemical engineering but am having trouble with getting scholarships because I messed up badly my freshman year of high school. Please pray for me that God provides the money and that I can find faith again. I'm posting this also for advice on overcoming this doubt. I know He's big enough to handle anything but I just don't whole heartedly believe it and keep saying "Yeah, right."

I know that is the Christian God with a doubt who exists and you can put your trust in. I have never seen wholes in the Christian religion even when viewing it as an atheist. Sometimes you get overly worried and start thinking too much and I just need some biblical support. [Do not offer other religions, I've taken classes about them and known people and have personally discussed far too many times I can remember and have seen wholes in their religion that isn't there in the Christian religion].

I know it's tough but trust him. God did not write anything in his word that would make him look foolish. God said in Isaiah
my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Believe that God can handle all you needs. God cares about all the things you care about because he knows you care about them. One last scripture.
MT 6:28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

What's your promise? You didn't mention a promise. You have to know what God said in order to put trust in it. It gives you a focus.

One promise that I faith on is this:
Psalm 37
3 Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:

6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

Prayer done.

Look into Islam, there is no stronger evidence about the Mercy of God. If you have weak faith it could be because you are trying to belive something that you know doesn't make sence. If you want to know more just contact me.
Peace

Money doesnt come from God, it comes from geeks, jews, and greedy loan officers.
