"he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation;' because they said, 'He has an unclean spirit'"
"Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come"
I blaspheme the Holy Sprit!!! I cannot be saved....... Why even bother with me?

As an Atheist, you have indeed found the primo way to get Christians off your back. I on the other hand am a Pagan, and I can't seem to bring myself to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. I, fortunately, have not found myself in a situation where anyone tries to convert me. In real life, if a Christian even starts to bring up religion to me, I just say "I don't discuss religion, thanks." If they continue, I just say "Well, got to go now, goodbye" and I turn around and leave or hang up the phone. People in my life have figured out that I have very strict boundaries where religion is concerned, and I will not be moved on them. It is not polite to try and destroy someone's religious beliefs to replace them with your own, therefore I do not feel obliged to be "polite" and listen.

Ignore them and move on. I have found that is best to just let it go and not let it eat at you. I have family and friends that are Christian and once they realized that what they said had no effect on my beliefs, they stopped trying to "save" me and moved on to trying to learn more about what I believed and most came to realize that I am who I am for my own reasons and left it at that.
It helps not to get into religious debates with people too, but sometimes you just can't help it.

Because you are here. I know that takes a stretch of thought, but location, location, location.
Besides, when I know how far yuo've come to make it clear, I rarely answer questions to devoted and religious Atheists like you. I answer your questions for other people, and not the points!

My first thought is muzzles and elephant tranquilizers... Cattle prods and tear gas is a close second..

Why do you hang out in the religion and spirituality section of yahoo? You must just want to beotch and moan. I never preach to people who say they don't want to hear it.I suggest if you don't want to be preached to don't come to this forum. Problem solved.
