Since Paganism is the first religion, then how can you say "The Bible" is true? In truth since Paganism is the first religion then how is it possible that Adam and Eve could have been the first two people seeing they believed in "God". And saying so then in retrospect wouldn't that disprove "The Bible" all together. Then again let's review the fact if there were only two people at the begging then that would mean everyone is responsible for incest which is against the rules of "the Bible". So where does "The Bible" tell the truth?

It was proven the Paganism was the first religion look it up for yourself. I have read "The Bible" several times. I even went to a ****ing Christian private school. I know what it says and I will tell you I don't believe a work in it. Jesus may have existed.but there is no "God"!!!

If I wanted to hear you quote "The Bible" I would have asked. I want you to tell me why it's true. If I wanted to listen to someone talk about "The Bible" I would go to my mother's, but guess what I don't. If you are going to be sarcastic don't even bother leaving an answer!

There are lot of contradictions in the Bible. I am just going to quote and describe only 5 of them.

1) According to the Bible, Book of Genesis
Chapter 1, verses 11-13,
Vegetation was created on the third day along with seed-bearing grasses, plants and trees; and further on as per verses 14-19, the sun was created on the fourth day. How is it scientifically possible for the vegetation to have appeared without the presence of the sun, as it has been stated in the Bible?

It also says light is created on the first day where as the source of light 'The Sun' is created on the fourth day. How is this scientifically possible?

2)According to Bible Fowl has four legs.

Lev 11:20-21: "All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you." Fowl do not go upon all four. There has not been any fossils of winged creatures found that has four legs. Insects do not have four feet either. So therefore, it is not very accurate in describing Zoology.

3 )"You shall not murder."
--Exodus 20:13

"Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man."
--Numbers 31:17-18

4)According to Bible King James Version Job 26:11 it says the heaven is placed on pillars. It says

"The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof"
This may be a metaphor but does not seem very scientific.

5) Mathematical problem in the Bible: 1Chronciles 25:3 Of Jeduthun: "The sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD."

When you count them there are five names, not six. Couldn't God find a chronicler who could count?

There are also plenty numerical contradiction that I don't want to mention. If you can prove the verses above are true then I will believe in the Bible.

You haven't quoted a source for your belief that Paganism is the first religion. What is your source? Also, you insinuate that maybe Adam and Eve were the first two people, but if you believe that, you must take the Bible as fact in that point.

Has your source questioned Adam and Eve about their religion, because if your source had, then Adam and Eve would have believed in the God who created them; therefore, they were not pagans.

Next, your diatribe against incest, which puts the law against its practice into the wrong era, much earlier than when it was written. The first two humans were perfect, and their children wouldn't have had so many genetic anomalies yet; therefore, inbreeding wouldn't have been such a risk. Later, with imperfect copies bearing children those factors increased exponentially, requiring a law against its practice.

1. Just because something is first chronologically does not imply that it is true. In fact, science illustrates the exact opposite.

2. The Bible is true if it contains truth. As a pagan, I am very surprised that you are incapable of seeing the truth in the Bible. The truths contained in the Bible have been advocated by modern neo-paganism for nearly 200 years, and were advocated by ancient paganism. There is one particular passage of Scripture that encapsulates the sum of the teachings of the ancient Mystery schools...

3. What makes you think that paganism was the first religion? How do you define 'paganism'? The earliest known religion was actually a solar/astrological faith centered around a Trinity, and had most of the ear-marks of early Christianity. "Paganism" was a term used to describe the primitive polytheism of ancient Rome, and was not applied to the solar-based Mystery religions (of which Christianity was a member).

I have never heard that Paganism was the first religion... Nor would I believe that. And when God created man (Adam and Eve) our genes and DNA were pure and without defect, so incest wasn't exactly an issue. However, it was never okay to be with your Mom or Dad or brother or sister. I don't know how things went with Adam and Eve... for all we know God created more people than them... it never really said. And if He didn't it didn't take long before there were cousins to marry... And in early Biblical times it was okay to marry an Uncle and such... Definitely sounds sick now, but back then it was okay. Like I said, just not immediate family, basically. God said this Himself as He was explaining the laws.

And no one is forcing you to believe the Bible. I personally do and completely, but if you doubt it so much then why bother?

I'm confused. My dictionary says that pagan is an irreligious person. I know we use it today to refer to people that worshiped more than one god etc. Anyhow, I think you mean it was practiced before Christianity. However, there were other religions around with the pagan ones, for example Abraham had his God which was formalized after the time of Moses, and that religion pointed the way to the Messiah who turned out to be Jesus Christ.

At the time of Adam and Eve, intermarrying was allowed. How else could they have reproduced? It's not allowed today because it can have some negative effects on the off spring of such unions. (We are not as healthy as they were back then.)

The bible is a whole bunch of stories written by people for people. Jesus was the world's greatest ever marketing guru and religion is now a multi-billion dollar industry. Keep in mind two things

1. If people didn't donate to churches and mosques & force their governments into religious friendly tax breaks all those priests and imam's would be unemployed and they would need to actually work for a living. Pope mobiles don't pay for themselves

2. The reason religious leaders have the edge of the marketing managers at Coca-Cola or Google is because they sell the afterlife. Obviously no-one is ever going to come back from the dead so their ideas cannot be disproven

The truth is Darwinism was proven a long time ago. I don't think anyone needs to think too deeply about the bible to find its obvious faults

Pity on you for your disbelief, of course it does not change the nature of God, just where you will spend eternity. I find it humorous that you accept that that paganism was the first religion cause “you looked it up” so they have the right answer everyone else is wrong. I assume “they” did their research all the way back to the beginning to see whom Adam and Eve “really” worshiped. As for incest, apparently you did not pay attention when you where in ******* religious school, or you would know that Adam and Eve were the first. Not the only, Cain went to the Land of Nod, to find his wife.

incest was not set as a law against God until many years after, in the beginning man and woman were in perfection, it was because of sin that after a time it is an abomination to God. You are completely taking the bible out of context, I never hear anyone talking about the multitude of fulfilled prophecy over thousands of years that Jesus fulfilled as the messiah, no that doesnt say anything, you dont know what you are talking about.

Adam and Eve were the first people on earth and what you call incestuous relationships were allowed until there enough people to populate the Earth and then the practice was forbidden by God.

Check the list of those who begot who in Genesis.
