There are tons of people out there looking for religionI suggest that you read the Bible and read the lyrics below.
who am i?-Casting Crowns

Who am I?
That the Lord of all the earth,
Would care to know my name,
Would care to feel my hurt.
Who am I?
That the bright and morning star,
Would choose to light the way,
For my ever wandering heart.

Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are.

I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow,
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, you catch me when I'm falling,
And you've told me who I am.
I am yours.
I am yours.

Who am I?
That the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
And watch me rise again.
Who am I?
That the voice that calmed the sea,
Would call out through the rain,
And calm the storm in me.

A moral activity consists of a motive, an act, and a consequence.

The motive is the source (reflects the Father). It is from within, and is invisible, unseen.

The act is the embodiment of the motive (reflects the Son, who is God in the flesh). The motive takes form in the act.

The consequence flows from the act, and from the motive through the act (reflect the Holy Spirit, whom the Father sends through the Son). The consequence is the act in its impact on others.

Note that this is always the order of any moral activity. First there is the motive, then the act, and finally the consequence. Note all three are absolutely necessary in any moral activity. We can only judge one of these in light of the other two.

Moral activity is only a reflection of the structure of the triune God. It is even a truer reflection when the nature of moral activity reflects the nature of God, which is light and love.

What do you think?

Proverbs is a poem. If you ask any poet they will tell you that taking poetry literally can get you into trouble. I read in a book that rod is translated as the Word of God. Anyways Proverbs is a POEM! Poetry has medifords. Jesus said that if you lust your eye should be guaged out and that if you steal your hand should be chopped off. How many people take that literally? Funny that when God talks about punishing Adults it's not literal but when it come to children it is. Why? Jesus said, "if you offend a little one who believes in me it is better for you if a millstone were tied around your neck and you were casted into the depths of the sea." This is not just talking about child molesters. There are many ways you can offend a child. Smacking is one. Jesus used a whip to drive out money changers? These were ADULTS. And The Bible didn't say he hit anyone with it. Perhaps just the ground to scair them. Proverbs 23:2 and put a knife to your throat
if you are given to gluttony.

Jesus never became angry at anyone for preaching against sin. If this were the case, then Jesus would have been very angry at John the Baptist, because John was a Hell-raising, leather-lunged, barn-storming, window-rattling, foundation-shaking, preacher! In Mark 6:17-18 we read, "For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her. For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife." Herod had John the Baptist arrested and put into prison, because John preached against Herod's adulterous relationship with his brother's wife. John was a true street preacher. Many people today would consider John a hatemonger, full of delusions, and a religious hypocrite. However, John was a Christ-honoring man of God! Jesus even called him the greatest born amongst women (Matthew 11:11). John wasn't judging Herod, or condemning him. No, John was proclaiming the Word of God. Most people don't understand this. If John was pointing out Herod's faults in self-righteousness, then John would be sinning. However, John didn't do that. John pointed out Herod's sins because John loved the Lord and hated sin! John was shortly thereafter executed for his crime of preaching the truth. John was willing to die for what he believed to be right. How about you? Every believer who loves the Lord is commanded to hate evil ... "Ye that love the LORD, hate evil..."

Let me say, everyone is NOT God's child. Most people have the foolish idea that EVERYONE is a child of God. This is simply not Biblical. If you've never received Christ as your personal Saviour, believing upon His name, then you're not a child of God ... "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." We are not saved by giving up bad works, or by doing good works. We are saved by confessing our sinful condition to God, and then believing upon Jesus Christ to forgive those sins. If the preaching of the Word of God offends you, then so be it! But if you go to Hell, it won't be because my website offended you, or some other Christ-honoring preacher. It will be because you love your sins, and willingly refuse to come to Jesus Christ for salvation. Jesus clearly stated in John 5:40, "And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life." Notice that Jesus didn't say "cannot." No, Jesus said "will not." If you go to Hell, you'll have no one to blame but yourself. It's not uncompromising preaching against sin that turns people away from Jesus Christ; BUT, their wicked heart of unbelief and love for sin.

Christian Must Not be Intimidated into Silence!

One big lie of the Devil today is that Christians must relate to the world if we are to reach them for Christ. No sir! We must not compromise, not one bit. Homosexuality is a vile and disgusting sin in God's sight, and we are to preach it aloud!!! Abortion is cold-blooded murder, and we must try to stop it! This includes preaching against abortion. Sin is sin, and must be labeled as such. As believers, we are to refute the works of darkness. We are to rise up against the evil doers, and the workers of iniquity. Preaching against sin never sent one single human being to Hell ... not one! Not one person ever went to Hell, because the preacher offended them with the truth, and they refused to get saved as a result. No, people go to Hell because they love their sins. We read in John 3:20, "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." It is man's stubborn rebellion and pride that gets him killed. God didn't just randomly kill thousands of people in the Old Testament, it was because of man's wickedness and sinful pride. We read in Ezekiel 33:11, "Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live..." Those who were killed in the Old Testament were the ones who refused to turn from their evil way. God is a merciful God, and will abundantly pardon those who seek it. Isaiah 55:7 states, "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." What a Wonderful God!!! Won't you come to Jesus Christ now to be pardoned?

To Many, the Bible is the Most Offensive Book on the Planet

So why should we trim our message as Christians? The Word of God includes some of the most horrible atrocities known to mankind. It was God Himself who instructed the Jews to invade the Promised Land, and KILL all the males if they weren't willing to surrender control of the land. Then the Jewish men were to take the remaining women and children for themselves. We read in Deuteronomy 20:13-14, "And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword: But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee." The people of Jericho weren't so fortunate. In Joshua 6:21 we read, "And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ***, with the edge of the sword." With the Lord's approval, Joshua destroyed the city of Jericho, killing all the men, women, and children with the edge of the sword.

Now let me ask you a question ... why would God tell humanity such horrible things, in the Bible, if He wants people to come to Him for salvation? Is not this the reasoning of most people today? Most people today say, "You should pray for homosexuals, not preach against their sins, or they'll never come to Christ." Ok, but what about 2nd Samuel 24:15? ... "So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beer-sheba seventy thousand men." God just killed 70,000 men! In 2nd Kings 19:35, an angel of the Lord kills 185,000 sleeping men. Many people today view God as the biggest mass-murderer in the universe. It was the famous Mark Twain, who after reading the Bible said, "If there is a God, He is a malign thug." The Word of God is brutally honest, and It offends most people. These Biblical facts strongly refute the Satanic lie that unbelievers won't come to Christ unless Christians compromise their message, lower their tone, and accept the wicked. Nothing could be further from the truth. When God wrote the Bible, He did NOT trim or compromise His Word to make it more ATTRACTIVE to sinful men. No, God said what He had to say, and I admire and thank Him for that. The argument that Christians will never win people to the Lord by preaching hard against sin is bogus! If that be true, then no one will ever get saved, because the Bible WILL offend them completely. In fact, this is exactly why people won't come to the Light, because of their sins. John 3:20 states, "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." Jesus already told us that the wicked won't come to Him for salvation, because they love their sins. So who are we to diminish the message with Christian rock, secular seminars, watered down Bibles, etc.. Don't fall for Satan's big lie that the truth will offend lost sinners, and cause you to weaken it. No sir! Don't do it! Let's preach the Word of God as It is!!!

Atheists say there is no God, but, I have seen and others have seen people on their death beds, dying from cancer, lung disease, heart disease, etc..then a group of people go into the hospital room, or bedroom of a home and pray for that person, and hours later, the person is starting to recover from their illness.
Now if there's no God, then what happened in those rooms, because doctors couldn't find a medical reason why are still alive, or for that matter...couldn't see why they were recoving from an illness that should have killed them. The patient's doctors bring in different doctors to check the patient, they do x-rays on them, but the doctors can't explain it. Now you explain this.....?

And do you think of the term "Almighty" as being male, female, neither, or both?
