Chuckle. I have a confession to make: I recently spent a few days at a ski resort in Quebec (business conference, we nearly had the place to ourselves), and I put in such long days that I could barely stagger into the room and collapse afterward.
So I was too exhausted to even open the Gideon Bible, much less to inscribe it with "Caution: Reading this book may be detrimental to your faith."

No. A better choice would be Mark Twain's "Letters from the Earth."
Agnostics would want to use Terry Pratchett's "Small Gods."
Personally, I have no problem with leaving the Bible in Hotel rooms. Reading the Bible has caused more Christians to look for another way than any other cause.

Some atheists don't believe in evolution, so your question should be "Should evolutionist start putting the 'Origin of Species' in hotel rooms?"

it'll certainly help them sleep, its the most boring thing I've ever tried to read (page 226 and stuck)
Still, since science has nothing to do with religion, evolution is an established theory and so on, i think that it wouldn't be a good idea.
We better just stick with the Bible, its a much better book with much more important things to learn about inside

no, not all atheists think evolution is how we got here, some state, i dunno, we can't know. the origin of species is a bit out dated two, something along the lines of the blind watch maker would be more informative, not that any fundie would touch it.
the god delusion on the other hand would be better, because there in are a lot of reasons why we say 'BS' abotu god.

it could have a locking mechanism in it. frequently the middle/good drawer is often unlocked, and to unencumber the different ones you open the middle drawer and shop it open. This releases the locks on the different drawers. If its no longer this, i'm unsure how all the different drawers could desire to be "caught".

No, as it is the book explaining origin of species. Put " The God Delusion " there, instead of the Origin.

How about "The God Delusion"? that way people will have a choice. Although then you need to put in the Koran, the Torah, and all the other religious books out there. I don't think hotel bedside tables are that big.
