Evolutionists, can you please explain the following:

Why are humans the only animal that has a nose seperated from the mouth--all others have muzzles, beaks, probiscuses, etc.

Why are we the only animal with a true opposable thumb--all others have "thumbs" that are actually extensions of the wrist

Why are we the only animal that has to bathe because our natural body odor, if not washed away and controlled is actually offensive to the opposite sex (and everyone else for that matter) and has been since long before personal hygene was easily accomplished--the tradition of spring weddings was started because it was shortly after the yearly bath, and most people still smelled okay, but the bride carried a bouquet of flowers because she was already getting a little ripe

Creationists and Intelligent Design believers think that if they can poke holes in the fossil evidence that the whole theory of evolution will come crumbling down. However, even disregarding the entire fossil record, molecular biology provides us overwhelming evidence for evolution.

For example, humans and chimpanzees are genetically more similar than chimpanzees are to any other apes.

Human chromosome #2 has been shown to be the result of the fusion of two ancestral chromosomes and retains remnants of a second telomere. Apes retain the original chromosomes: http://www.gate.net/~rwms/hum_ape_chrom.html

I always thought that Glen seemed to be an altogether guy but recently he exposed his Latter Day Saintist affiliation. I was utterly shocked but then realized that the devil is the king of deception. I watched how he badgered the famous African American activist, Al Sharpton because Sharpton merely stated the fact that Americans are not going to vote for a Mormon for President and they are not!

So Glen, wake up and smell the coffee and just get over it. The American people don't want a Mormon in the White House, maybe in Congress or the Senate, but definitely not in the seat of President of the United States of America! The job of President is a big responsibility whether or not you understand this Mr. Beck.

This is for the religious types out there. Forget about my other so-called sins and focus on this if you can . . .

I have no interest in having children. None. The idea of being pregnant makes me a little bit ill. I don't think I have the ability to raise one of my own. I prefer old people and cats.

Keep in mind I'm 27 (28 July 3rd!) so it's getting to the point where telling me that I'll change my mind is ridiculous.

So . . .

1. Is my "no trespassing" stance on my uterus a sin?
2. If so, why would God want me to breed when I have no interest in it? Doesn't he want children to be with parents who will welcome them and love them?

Answer. I'm rather curious to see what the answers will be.

Posted by Polly in answer to one of my questions:

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."

-- Melody Beattie

My thoughts to you All, Grateful knowing you my friends. Thank you for the help you have given me.

Hugs and Kisses

Namaste

Peace and Love

If so, then why didn't he think ahead? For me personally, I never want to go through childbirth because of the pain. If I got pregnant (I use 2 types of contraception), I would have an abortion because I wouldn't want to go through with that.

For atheists, faith in god is difficult and, for some, impossible. Why would god design Christianity in a way that is so hard for some people to believe? What is the benefit for us to be forced into having faith (belief without knowlege) rather than just allowing us knowledge. [I hope this makes sense... I had a hard time finding the right words].

From humans to all animal life, insects, plants, etc. There is Male and Female.

What do you think God thinks of homosexuality? Remember, no matter how many Hollywood "stars" hold hands and waive rainbow flags around and no matter how much the media portrays it as normal: in the end, IT'S WHAT GOD SAYS THAT DETERMINES LIFE OR DEATH...PEACE OR PAIN.

Do evil people know they are evil?

When you see the word "God" here, have you been around long enough to know that they are probably refering exclusively to the Christian concept? How about the word "Believer"...same thing?
So when people use the word "Non-Believer" is it aimed exclusively to Atheist or anyone who doesn't believe in the Christian God?

Jesus taught forgiveness but I never remember Elizabeth Smart mentioning that she forgave that homeless man that had forced sex on her? Since we Mormons keep sex within the marriage will Elizabeth Smart have to be sealed in eternity with her abductor or should we change the rules to include a provision for rape?

It seems that every time our Mormon church gets stuck with something that just ain't kosher we have to change the rules (ie. polygamy).

TheX is a abbreviation of 'Xmas' for 'Christmas' is neither modern nor disrespectful. The notion that it is a new and vulgar representation of the word 'Christmas' seems to stem from the erroneous belief that the letter X is used to stand for the word 'Christ' because of its resemblance to a cross, or that the abbreviation was deliberately concocted "to take the 'Christ' out of Christmas." Actually, this usage is nearly as old as Christianity itself, and its origins lie in the fact that the first letter in the Greek word for 'Christ' is 'chi,' and the Greek letter 'chi' is represented by a symbol similar to the letter 'X' in the modern Roman alphabet. Hence 'Xmas' is indeed perfectly legitimate abbreviation for the word 'Christmas' (just as 'Xian' is also sometimes used as an abbreviation of the word 'Christian').

its not a Modern term for chritmas its been used since the begining of christianity, we might as well say using the word Jesus is disrespectful for Jesus was called Yeshua
