"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."

-- Melody Beattie

My thoughts to you All, Grateful knowing you my friends. Thank you for the help you have given me.

And I'm grateful too, for knowing you all and for the hours of thought, reflection and contemplation I get from answering questions and reading the answers of all my wonderful contacts. I'm glad you liked my answer. Thank you for thanking me!

There is merit in your kind words, Dukkha and Karma notwithstanding. Our thoughts, words and deeds have consequence, your thoughts and words have and will continue to have such consequence.

Allow me a smile for your kindness and another for your benefit, not to repay but to honour the giver. You have suffered and are still suffering my weary friend, take heed of the lessons, allow the hurts to pass by without exhibiting Upadana ...clinging to these hurts and feelings...and you will remain. Clinging...Upadana is the culprit of suffering, "self" is the cause of Upadana.

Once these hurts are allowed to dissipate, only you will remain, they will dissipate and you will still be there, undaunted and unafraid.

Be at Peace, you know this to be truth.

I remain your friend....from a Buddhist...

Nice post...sharing our wisdom, as well as our stupidity, helps us all reach conclusions.
