I have heard both sides.
1. Yes. If they were coherent enough to know what they were doing and did it in a selfish manner.
2. No. If they were mentally ill and did not know what they were doing. Drugged and thought they were doing something else. Assisted in the act to end life that was painful (last stage cancer, etc.
Take it as you will I believe God loves all people in their ups and downs. If you have accepted him in your life and followed him, he will be by your side forever.

Well I'll start off by telling that I believe the hellfire doctrine is only a lie propagated by the churches to scare their parishoners. I'll answer your question from the sense that does God dissaprove of suicide. I would like to say this is a black and white question and mostly it is. If a person is of sound mind and does it, then the answer is yes, suicide is showing disrespect for the life we are given. Read ecclesisastes 9:5 and you'll see their fate. It's not as bad as some would have you believe. Now if someone with a severe mental illness that did seek earnest help and found no cure did it under delusion then we are to believe that it wasn't a deliberate taking of one's life. Then it's different. Truthfully the hellfire doctrine is disrespectful to God. The bible tells us that God is love. A loving God would not torture anyone for an eternity.

Everyone with the exception of the remnant of the 144,000 go to Hell when they die, Hell is nothing more than the common grave of all mankind. Sheol, Hades, and Hell are all the same place and have been confused by bad translations of Gehenna which stands for everlasting destruction, but was a place outside of Jerusalem where they burned their trash and the bodies of criminals unfit for burial.

Yes because I know everything.... No neither I or any other person knows the true answer to this question. Only God can judge a person, but since they broke the 5th commandment and as far as I know had no time to ask for forgiveness, the chance is likely. Dying with a mortal sin on your soul is not good.

We can't really say. You don't know what could be going through their mind before or while they are dying. They could be sorry, but we would never no, only God would. It could have been an accident. Many people who supposedly committed suicide just desperately needed/wanted attention and they're just trying to make people notice. Many of them don't really want to die. I think we should let God be the judge of that. Whatever happens is fair.

I don't think I believe in heaven or hell, but you are not asking my opinion. You specifically asked if they will go to hell. How can anyone know for sure what will happen in this circumstance or any circumstance concerning death? We have all kinds of books written by scholars who debate this and other questions about death. None of them know for sure either. Unless you have died and come back to life and can know for sure what happened in those moments, how can you know without a doubt?
I have to answer - I don't know.

Only Jehovah can decide.
By saying hell, if you are thinking about a place of fiery torment, that place does not exist. In the Bible, hell is the common grave of mankind where there is no consciousness. (Eccl. 9:5)

First of all the definition of HELL is: "the common grave of dead mankind".......so yes, everyone who dies goes to the grave, (or an urn, or cease to be alive)
Secondly....(Romans 6:23) “23 For the wages sin pays is death,. . .”
and thirdly....(Acts 24:15) “15 and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.. . .”
Only God knows who will be resurrected, but we can have hope that, regardless of how awful our experiences were in this life time and in this system of things which Satan is the ruler of, that our dead loved ones will be resurrected...
(1 John 5:19-20) “. . .but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one. . . .”
(2 Corinthians 4:4) “among whom the god of this system of things. . .”

If you're an atheist - no
If you're an agnostic - maybe... or will I?
If you're catholic - yes
Basically it depends on what you believe. Personally I think suicide is wrong only if your intention is selfish. If you kill yourself to save another - that is an honorable death. If you kill yourself to end severe suffering - that is an honorable death because it alleviates your family's suffering. If you kill yourself simply because you are unhappy you are being selfish and (in my opinion) will probably go to hell for the suffering you cause your friends and family.

no actually the bible doesn't say "yes". committing suicide isn't a mortal sin, it's really selfish bu it it isn't a mortal sin. if you're a christian (as in you've asked god to be your lord and savior) then somewhere down the line you commit suicide god isn't going to kick you out. if you ask god into you're heart for fire safety then you not going to heaven. if you're feeling suicidal though you should talk to someone like a close friend, a parent, or your pastor.
