Will someone PLEASE point me in the dirction of the scripture that says if you commit suicide you will go to hell..
Yeah Athests I know, you are going to say there is no hell.. That is not the question I am askng,.. I want someone to tell m there is scripture tht supports the basis of going to hell if you take your own life..

Only God knows that, the Bible very rarely openly says if you do "insert specific action" here you will go to hell. However, the basis lies in the 5th commandment "Thou shalt not kill" or the 6th commandment depending on the version of the Bible.

I can't point you in that direction because it doesn't exist. Nowhere in the bible does it say that you automatically go to hell for suicide.
There is only one unforgivable sin, which is to deny or blaspheme against God
Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

There is no such a thing in the Bible. We are not going to hell if we commit sins. We are going to hell if we do not choose heaven.

People say suicide is not in the Bible and they are right,the word isn't there. Think though for a moment,what is suicide? It is murder.

IT does state something like he doesn't want anyone to take their own life but if someone does that the thing or person who caused them so much sorrow will have to pay the price.

i dont know where it says that in the bible. god wants to plan our life. he wants us to enjoy life here on earth. he made the world for us to live life and enjoy it. why would anyone kill thereself if they made they world for us. god has lots of stuff planned for us and he wants us to live it. im not sure if you go to hell if you kill yourself. no one knows. theres lots of things mentioned in the old testament that if you do a sin will go to hell. but jesus came down to earth and changed it all. so know one knows for sure that if you you kill yourself you go to hell.
