If so, then why didn't he think ahead? For me personally, I never want to go through childbirth because of the pain. If I got pregnant (I use 2 types of contraception), I would have an abortion because I wouldn't want to go through with that.

But, that wasn't god's intention.

I've looked into it, but I'm too young for any doctor to agree to do it. They all think I'll change my mind. I can asure you, I won't.

Abortions, are supposedly only a fraction of the pain of childbirth. Of course, I don't want an abortion either, but if It happened, I wouldn't hesitate.

thats the mythology. Its a good point that is raised above...
If we have epidurals that thwart gods punishment are we going to incur some sort of wrath???

Yes that was one of the punishments for her sin. Childbirth is made less painful by the use of epiderals and there is such a thing as C-sections which are pain free(experience) and if you would be willing to have an abortion because you didn't want to go through the pain, then I doubt you should have any children anyway since you probably would not make a good parent, because a loving parent would endure pain or anything else for the sake of their children.

This is extremely poorly worded. I'm not quite sure what the question is fully asking. I'll just say that child birth is painful because that's just the way humans pro-create. A lot of things in life are painful. God never said that child birth wasn't painful, and neither did anyone else. Obviously no one can ""teleport" each baby out".

hey woman! calm down! it's not that painful! painful is getting stabbed! painful is losing the one and only man you've ever really loved! painfull is being sad and all alone! painful is having your legs cut off because of an accident! you're probably too young or too lucky and you haven't felt real pain yet... you simply decided that you're too afraid of pain to deliver a baby, so you'll murder the child before it is born to prevent your body from having some pain for a couple of days, which can be eased with painkillers...morphin and stuff... i'm not proud that there are that kind of women in this world. well, ok. we didn't got lucky, and god chose us to bring kids to life. we'll only pay it once or twice, during labour... do a cezarectomy. you''ll feel no pain cause you'll be asleep. and if your husband wants a kid, then what? you can't believe what it feels like to have a small baby growing in you for 9 months, it's amazing, feels like you were brought in this world for something good. that you're worth to. well, that was my opinion. sorry, i mean no harm. i sometimes get a bit ironic for such matters, sorry again.

Childbirth is the most wonderful, most painful, but most precious thing one has ever done. I have had 2 babies. Once you have them, you instantly forget about the pain you endured to get them. I'm not sure what it is, but something between the pain and the child itself makes you more appreciative and awestruck by what you have created. Honestly, right now, I could say it hurts more to stub my toe, than it did to have my son, who is now 16 months. Thats just how it works...
Please oh please do not abort if you do happen to get pregnant, If you think you are ready and could provide the baby with a good loving home, keep it. I guarantee you it is worth every min. of pregnancy.
Also, an epidural makes that pain disappear. It's like being at the bottom of the deep end of the pool. Lot's of pressure, but it's not that bad.

Maybe God made childbirth painful, to teach a life lesson. Sometimes it's hard to do the right thing...but just because it's hard doesn't mean you should kill a baby so you don't have to deal with it. If you thought you were woman enough to have sex, you should be woman enough to have the baby. I am ProLife because I say it's the womans fault, not the babies. Abortion is killing someone. Nomatter how small they may be. And even worse...it's your own flesh and blood. You know, it doesn't have to be painful. I had a C-section with my son, and it wasn't that bad at all. I'm sure glad I didn't have him "aborted" because he's a great kid.

Why didn't He think ahead? How about blaming Eve, as this is her fault. How about Adam? He couldn't just tell her no? His sin to bare is to have to work hard for his living to support his family. You believe in GOD yet you would have an abortion, which by the way is painful. I think that is twisted. Better yet, do not have sex if you are that afraid.

It's probably best that you not be a mother with that attitude. Children are considered a gift from God. Genesis relates how he said he would greatly increase Eve's birth pangs. Genesis 3:16. With modern medicine it's possible to have a relatively pain free birth. For normal people, the joy of giving birth out weights any discomfort associated with it.

You would rather murder an innocent child that you created than have to go through some pain one day? Wow. That was a selfish statement.

Gen 3:16 Unto the woman He said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children;

They do give women medicine for the pain now a days.

The Bible says God multiplied birth pain. So there must have been a little to multiply it. Are abortions pain free? I have seen written articles that say the baby has pain. So not getting pregnant would be the best option.
