Okay, so here's what I want to know... What do today's people think of their religions... Personally I wish christianism would be much closer to what it should be... Permisive of other beliefs, preaching love and universal UNDERSTANDING... I want to know what you all think and feel... Because it would be lovely to hear about how the situations of other religions are... and just maybe we can all learn from this... So are you or are you not content with today's world?

Three former leaders of a ministry that counsels gays to change their sexual orientation apologized, saying although they acted sincerely, their message had caused isolation, shame and fear.

The former leaders of the interdenominational Christian organization Exodus International said Wednesday they had become disillusioned with promoting gay conversion.

"Some who heard our message were compelled to try to change an integral part of themselves, bringing harm to themselves and their families," the three said in a statement released outside the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center.

In Exodus 22.9 line 20 it states "You shall not wrong a stranger or oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt". Words of G-d speaking to Moses. Yet, you take the time to oppress me, and call me a stranger, accuse me of not being a Jew like you are, so why are you breaking a commandment of G-d?
"You shall not oppress a stranger, for you know the feelings of the stranger, having yourselves been strangers in the land of Egypt." Exodus 23 line 9.

I am a wrestling fan... and after the shocking events recently, I wonder if Chris Benoit has a chance to get into heaven.

Yes, he killed his wife, son, and self... But until that point there are no records of him being a bad person. Friends are shocked that he could have done a thing like that....

He obviously felt some sort of remourse (or fear) after killing them, so he hanged himself. But is there a chance of him having a good afterlife?

ok i am Christian and i would like to know several things about you non religious people. for one thing, would you mind explain why you are so against religion/God (in a respectable manner if you don't mid)? Also, in schools these days, the schools boards are so afraid of offending anyone that they've banned saying "Merry Christmas" on one of the most international holidays. Would it offend any of you if a Christian/non-Christian wished you a merry Christmas??? i am not asking these questions to interrogate anyone, i really am just curious. =]

Do you claim to be Christians? Are any people before Jehovah's Witnesses started (in 1896) saved? Why did the Watchtower have to start in 1896 if this were already true and being praticed. If something is from God how will it just vanish? Why are Jehovah's Witnesses not allowed to read the KJV of the bible and have to read the NWT?
