Islam has always condemned terrorism and it always will. Those who criticize Islam or Muhammed (pbuh) for the terrorism acts prevailing today, actually are very ignorant about the facts.
They listen to what the media and other people comment and they carry on from there. I have encountered such people myself and over the years, by reading and finding out about Islam and Muhammed (pbuh, these people have come to realise that these terrorists are Not True muslims and Islam is a peace loving and preaching faith.

Most Muslims condemn terrorism, because it is specifically forbidden in the text of the Qur'an.

In response to eldad9, the Qur'an is quite clear in condemning terrorism, violence, injustice, etc. War is condemned very strongly, and only allowed in self-defence, with numerous other humanitarian regulations (i.e. forbidding the killing of women and children, even in warfare; farmers; trees; etc.)

I certainly have self belief i've got on no account heard (or study) a Muslim condemn terrorism -- not an common opinion, expressed of their very very own words. Quoting the Koran or one among countless Hadiths is fully meaningless to me. It only illustrates that the Muslim's opinion isn't probably their very very own. Reciting memorized propaganda isn't such as easily having your individual opinion. are you able to appreciate this important factor? it must be that interior of Muslim subculture it somewhat is seen a distinctive characteristic to repeat the Prophet's words in accordance with each question. To my ears, curiously you have not any techniques of your individual. on the different hand, after writing the above paragraph, I decrease back on your question and notice which you have have been given finished precisely what I say Muslims on no account do -- particularly, stated an common opinion on your individual words. I ask for forgiveness. i became incorrect, and in blunders. there became no Scripture on your question. My only quite lame excuse is to admit that, by way of George Bush, I now have a tendency to view all believers as irrational fundamentalists. this is not proper which faith, real believers won't be in a position to be trusted because of the fact they positioned their faith in an imaginary God beforehand their allegience to their fellow human beings. they're traitors to the human race. I even have tried to respond to your question certainly, in the pastime of looking our effortless humanity. this is not my objective to insult or demean your faith -- just to bare my real emotions. i'm actually happy to pay attention that "maximum Muslims" do not think of i'm worth killing, if it expenses them their very very own lives. i'm hoping you get excitement from it somewhat is chilly convenience while one is surrounded with the aid of Christians who're themselves wanting to die, so they'd get excitement from the excitement of observing human beings like me burn in Hell.

A lot of muslims condemn terror. majority of them i should say, maybe 90 percent of them, maybe more, i can tell u that i know this thing for sure.

But I heard nothing from them, their voices so soft that u couldnt hear them at all. those terrorists and bigots speak louder. and they definitely act better.

So what's the point?
thousands, millions of rabbits can't save u from one car bomb.

Many muslims condemn terrorists. Many get killed and their families murdered by opposing the terrorists. It's a culture where if one person opposes them, they kill the entire family, its quite a sacrifice.

I've yet to see protests by Muslims against terrorism with the same zeal as when they protest against Salman Rushdie.
