You can. It just can't be a part of the school curriculum. They can not teach one religion over another, and they can not teach that belief in a deity is correct over non-belief. Students can do whatever they want amongst themselves.
Here is the law according to the Department of Education's web site:
http://www.ed.gov/policy/gen/guid/religi...

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: As a condition of receiving funds under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, an LEA must certify in writing to its SEA that it has no policy that prevents, or otherwise denies participation in, constitutionally protected prayer in public schools as set forth in this guidance.
The guidance clarifies the rights of students to pray in public schools. As stated in the guidance, ``* * * the First Amendment forbids religious activity that is sponsored by the government but protects religious activity that is initiated by private individuals'' such as students. Therefore, ``[a]mong other things, students may read their Bibles or other scriptures, say grace before meals, and pray or study religious materials with fellow students during recess, the lunch hour, or other non instructional time to the same extent that they may engage in nonreligious activities.'' Public schools should not be hostile to the religious rights of their students and their families.
At the same time, school officials may not ``compel students to participate in prayer or other religious activities.'' Nor may teachers, school administrators, and other school employees, when acting in their official capacities as representatives of the State, encourage or discourage prayer or actively participate in those activities with students.

It's a fair law.

Why did you specify the Christian god in your question? Public schools are NOT the forum in which you may spread your faith. Would you like it if your Christian children came home with a Koran someone at school had given them? Public schools are funded by everyone's tax dollars regardless of their faith or non-faith, and should remain a secular place of learning.

Because not everybody believe in god the students in public schools have a whole bunch of different beliefs and some people feel like it's like pushing a religion on people and kids.

If you attend a private parochial school you may. If you attend a public school, you may not.

The main reason is because public schools are mostly funded by local, state and federal government monies...and the government is not allowed to promote the "establishment of religion".

It's the 1st Amendment to the Bill of Rights (a part of the Constitution).

You are allowed to talk about it but some people that dont believe in God get offended. Just dont press your beliefs on people and things should be alright. Do it privately if at all possible.

because some people doesnt want to hear about God and some just hates God and the priniciple might think that people will fight because one person doesnt want to talk about God and the other does talk about God and that may cause a fight.

You can. You just can't make other kids pray, you shouldn't be harrassing them about it, and you can't interrupt class to do it - like you can't interrupt class to do anything else.

Why do you feel the need to broadcast your religion? And force it on everyone else? That's the real question.

You can (during your free time when you are free to talk to your friends). Your school administrators and teachers can't.
