Actually to be precise and according to ancient writings, man did come from that original stock of bipeds. However - something drastic happened in-between. Evolution took a giant leap when intelligent man was Created. After that intelligent Civilized man was created in the image of their creators.
That happened about 400.000 years ago. Remember.... " and the gods said "Let us create Man in our image". There were other highly intelligent races WAY older than that dating back hundreds of Millions of years. Earth was colonized many times over the ages.
The oldest artificial artifact - a 5" stainless metal sphere with tgree concentric rings around its equatoe was found in S. Africa in a deep coal mine in strata that was 2.000.000.000
(Billion) years old. There are many artifacts in the range of up to 300 Million years old that have been dug up. However - few of those ever see the light of day because they would upset many things in established science AND especially Religion!
If you google "Ancient flying machines"..... you will be shown pictographs in an Egyptian temple (I think it is in Abydos) that show helicopters as they look NOW, a jet plane, a submarine and other things. These are about 5000 years old.
Further very interesting studies and sources can be found in "The hidden History of the Human Race - The condensed edition of Forbidden Archeology. by the eminent scholar Michael A. Cremo...
Another good book is by Zacharia Sitchin..... "The lost Book of Enki". That one is a direct translation from 5000 year old Sumerian clay tablets. It reads a little bit strange because it was translated the way they spoke then. This book is a quite different creation account than the bible wants us to believe. There you have a very modern description of Genetic Engineering, gene splicing and DNA manipulation..... the trial and error approach until they got it just right which took Many generations. The book also talks about nuclear wars in those days.... the late Great flood and how it came about..... Noah's ark never carried a pair of each species of animals on board. All the DNA samples of the living creatures were collected and were brought on board. After that those samples were turned into life forms again.... as modern science is starting to do now.

Sleepng bare nonetheless bugs me at cases - i won't be in a position to get heat in the iciness that way! Or the summer time the two - better half loves air con. T blouse and underclothes as I even have in view that i became little. Nighties wrap around your legs and are uncomfortable. only time I positioned on in any different case is off at historic activities in the early spring or previous due fall - then I positioned on sweats to mattress. Gotta be heat once you arise and this is 25 stages on your tent. 8 song - i did not understand you and the spouse had bunk beds!

there is no point to Pascal's Wager.
“Believing is not something you can decide to do as a matter of policy. At least, it is not something I can decide to do as an act of will. I can decide to go to church and I can decide to recite the Nicene Creed, and I can decide to swear on a stack of bibles that I believe every work inside them. But none of that can make me actually believe it if I don’t. Pascal’s wager could only ever be argument for feigning belief in God. And the God that you claim to believe in had better not be of the omniscient kind or he’d see through the deception.” - Richard Dawkins

I was pretty sure you were trolling when you included Pagans on your list.
*Drink*
So rarely do the Atheists (or Christians) pay note to the Non-Christian Theists on Y!A.
I get to be snarky to both groups and drink twice as often.
