that's what the New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967) admits:
“The Trinitarian dogma is in the last analysis a late 4th-century invention. . . . The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century.”

I would like to know more about Jesus without reading the bible (which i believe is fiction mostly) or the Qu'ran (which I don't know much about). Is this even possible?

Remember, you don't know it's him so would you shut the door on him? You find out some days later it was Jesus at your door and you flunked your test to be faithful to God. How do you feel?

I lived in Bensham, the biggest jewish community in the country. Why then have I read that this festival is solemn. On this day, the police patrolled, the jews roll about drunk and smoking they were in fancy dress, one was even in a kilt and ginger wig, they walked in front of traffic, hence the police for their protection. It sometimes went on until the early hours which wasn't really allowed. Have I mixed the name up then? I lived there for five years. I am sure I haven't

Would it bother you if I screamed You're going to Never Never Land because you don't believe in fairies? (not that I would) I just don't get where the anger comes from.

My denomination is Baptist, but sometimes when I just thinking about things I start thinking about all this stuff so I will ask =)

1. If your mind produces "brain waves" that can be monitored and measured, what if man can find a way to produce waves the mind can understand and hence control the brain?

2. Everyone knows about frequencies and everything, but could there be the possibility of sorta like a "multi-channel" or "parallel universe" where we are co-existing on top of on another on earth? Radios have different frequencies, televisions, Cell phones, what if there was a frequency where others existed?

I remember watching a movie sorta like that....

just something interesting to jog the mind, and trying to see what everyone else thinks =)

Have a great day

When did you realize you did not beleive in your religion. And why? Not objecting to other religions. I have friends of all shapes, sizes, beleifs etc. Just curious. because I am agnostic and i want to see how others were when they felt insecure as they walked into their mosque, synagogue, church, etc.

Why are all these Christians condemning me to Hell? Are they trying to lighten His burden? Can't the Almighty do the job, His job, Himself?

For those who answered "No": Does this mean we only need to believe?

For Muslims it is Mecca and Medina (Jerusalem is only mention in passing)
For Catholics it is Vatican

What is the spiritual city for all other Christian branches? Please, state your denomination.
Thank you and have a nice day.

if you believe that Jesus rose from the dead. Am I right? I know this may sound disrespectful but it is a simple question. I mean zombies supposedly rise from the dead, and Jesus supposedly rose from the dead. You can't disbelieve one without disbelieving the other.
