I don't know. Insecurity? The need to have others back you up? Inability to think as an individual? My Dad couldn't beat up antibody's dad (but I probably could)! No one has ever tried to convert me to Atheism, Buddhism, Hindu, Muslim, Wiccan, or believing in the flying spaghetti monster. Guess who is left out of the "non-conversion" groups? My belief is my own, I am a Pict (Hedge witch) and it does not matter to me if you want to be one or not. It is your life, just as this is my life. So, in essence, I have often wondered the same thing. I come here to answer legitimate questions, not to promote my religion nor refute any one elses.

Because the world is filled with fanatics. People whose hobbies are blowing words out of proportion. Freedom of Religion is a bittersweet aspect in America. Yes, its great to be able to express your beliefs, but at the same time, you get people who just cant accept diffrent religions and try anything to convert you to the "right religion". There is a reason the world isnt perfect and there is nothing we can do about it.

No one is forcing anyone to accept their opinions on R&S. We all have the right to voice our opinions and beliefs. You are here volluntarily, as we all are. If it is so tiring, maybe you should leave.

My dad can beat up your dad isn't the best example because they are equal. Don't get confused about truth and untruth. Every faith is not the same. There can only be one true faith. So which one is it? The one with the most evidence, so....

I keep asking that of ATHEIST who insist on telling me they don't want to hear about my r------. I think you might have a persecution complex. My dad has been dead 20 years.. I can have him exhumed if you want to. What does fighting have to do with Christianity--or is that an ATHEISTIC thing?

If you ask a question, then you should expect a scriptural answer. Answering a question with the Bible is not the same as "force feeding".
By using scriptures in the answer, it is also not an opinion, it is the Word of God.
When you disagree with the scriptures, you are not disagreeing with the person who answered the question, you are disagreeing with God.
And yes "God can beat up your Dad" :)
