i don't think it would make the bible illegitimate if he had. After all, it's not a sin to fall in love! I don't think it would have had a negative impact on his ministry.

sorry, i know this question has probably been asked before.

That we are gods creation and have a purpose in our life??? People get thrown off from christianity because of so many people who claim to be christian but really break it down in their own way, which can be wrong. Like those who kill in the name of God or whatever. People need to give God a chance. Find their own answers. Don;t look to the earth for the answers, because the earth is bound to fail. Realize that we can't control everything, therefore we need a God in our life. It sadens me to see so many people live without the love i have now from God in my life.

As normal decent human beings, I think we can all agree that we want to live in a good, decent non-violent loving world, that is what GOD had intended from the start, HOWEVER Satan was hurled out of a perfect heaven into earth and has been tempting man with evil doings since that time, and we as human beings have no way to stop it only JESUS can.
If Man could of destroyed evil, wouldn't he have done it by now???
We cannot destroy evil in Men's hearts, we cannot control the climate to make it better, we cannot control GOD's plan for humanity, we cannot stop what is destined to happen, we can make life better while were here but we are all destined to die no way to stop it, so why are so many people afraid that a christians WILL is for the world to end? when it's is evil we want to end, don't Atheists want Evil and Pain to end, so we can live in a loving perfect world, where there is no more death, pain and suffering?
I write alot about the End Times because we are in them...

Accord to 1 Samuel 15:3, these were God's orders, "Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys."

Is this historical? Does it accurately quote the god of the Bible's orders to the Hebrew army?

(I'm not asking if you believe it applies today, I'm asking if you believe it happened.)

Assuming God must either exist or not exist creates a paradox which cannot be answered. This is because humanity has literally changed the definition of reality in the last 350 years. The philosophy of Plato and Aristotle (about 400 BC) defined reality as idealistic and solipsistic, meaning that subjective experience was considered absolutely real and objective reality was considered an illusion created by our minds. Based on this philosopby, St. Augustine (about 390) invented the concept of the soul to explain how both conscious awareness and Christ's promise of eternal life was possible. Educated western civilization universally accepted this view until science began to discover, beginning with Gallileo (about 1590) that the physical realm is actually real and subjective experience is an illusion created by our living brains. This means that God actually does exist in subjective experience and simultaneously that He does not exist in objective reality. Is compromise possible?

These are the basic beliefs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Here is the Article:

We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.

Again, I am looking to see if you agree or disagree with these principles... not any biased "opions" on what people think Mormons believe.

Many people ask what Mormon's believe... these Articles of Faith explain it in it's simplest form. Most Christians will see that we share a lot of the same beliefs.

What do you think?

He thinks he can just throw on a white collar and priest outfit, and walk in and out of patients rooms.

He really thinks no one will catch him if he pretends he's from another hospital.

He got on this kick because he recently went to see someone in the hospital and noticed a great lack of security and how everyone can roam around freely.

You ask, why does he want to do this? Just to prove that he can get away with it.... what do you think of this?

He's in his mid-30's.

I use to go to the christian chat rooms. I noticed after becoming friends with several athesist and agnostics that they tend to want to argue with christians more than any other religion. I went to muslim rooms, jewish, hindus, buddhist. And never were the athesist would come in there. I asked my friend one day why come in here all the time? Why not the hindus or something they got thousands of gods? He said christians were more fun to aggravate. So why is it? What is it about us christians that seem to be a magnet why dont athesist and agnostics ever talk about the other religions?
