Er, what do you mean? "recognised by any other religions" - do you mean recognized as a prophet? Well only Muslims believe he was a prophet; people of other faiths do not believe he was. Do you mean "recognized", as in people know of him as a historical figure? Well most people know of him. Please clarify what you mean.

I'm surprised that no one has figured this one out by now. Muhammad was born AFTER Judaism and Christianity were born. So how could he be acknowledged by previous religions? Their religious texts may have pointed in such a direction, but you cannot know or acknowledge someone who will exist in a future time period. Muslims recognize Moses, Abraham, and Jesus as very major prophets in their religion, and this makes sense because they existed before the time of Muhammad. But it is impossible for religions that came about prior to Islam to acknowledge Muhammad; you can look upon people who are dead, but you cannot know someone who is not alive yet. And like I said, Islam accepts the prophets of Judaism and Christianity, whereas Judaism and Christianity virtually cannot.

Serious Spiritual Answer......................
Religions are filled with a thing called business.
Religions are filled with a thing called ego.
If either of these two items were to become endangered,
panic would be the word of the day.
If one of the earlier Faiths feel threatened, they easily deny
that which is threatening them, as a falsehood and a lie.
Narrow mindedness is thriving in the world today.
Is it not so?

Because he isn't the last prophet, the two witnesses of Revelation are the last of the prophets.

Your question puzzles me.
Why should other religions recognize Mohammed?
He never claimed to be Christian, so Christians don't recognize him as anything special.
There is a fantastic rock singer in China.
Why don't you buy his records?
Why don't you talk about him?
Because he's .....over there, not part of your world.
Same thing.

HALLO, there are still prophets today. Sorry but unless you believe that Jesus is the son of God you have a problem. Mohamed is not mentioned in the Bible. Blessing in Jesus Christ

2pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2pe 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
2pe 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
1jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
2ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.from such turn away.
ITS CALLED FALSE RELIGION
MANY MANY MANY FALSE RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOD.
Mt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

I guess for the same reason only Christian believe that Jesus was the one and only God, and nobody else recognizes that as a fact. (In spite of all the torturing and killing that christians put people through to prove that Jesus is love.)

consider this scripture (Galatians 1:8) . . .However, even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to YOU as good news something beyond what we declared to YOU as good news, let him be accursed.. . .
