That we are gods creation and have a purpose in our life??? People get thrown off from christianity because of so many people who claim to be christian but really break it down in their own way, which can be wrong. Like those who kill in the name of God or whatever. People need to give God a chance. Find their own answers. Don;t look to the earth for the answers, because the earth is bound to fail. Realize that we can't control everything, therefore we need a God in our life. It sadens me to see so many people live without the love i have now from God in my life.

Bible is the proof. It is a book that has made it through thousands of years and has been proven the most true book in the world in many studies. Theres your proof yoda....but don't let that stop you from living a life without hope for anything after death. BUT...However you deny him, God still loves you

One day you will all see.

and you will be happy now, but the world WILL let you down.

I have every reason not to believe in God....and i hated him for a while. But then i found out he is the only way. I can't get you all to believe, which is sad. You must find him on your own. Good Luck following the dirt

It isn't our job to force anyone to believe what they don't understand and really care less about researching in depth.
More than likely they have not picked up God's Word and studied it in detail or they would have found the answers to their arguements and questions. Since it is too complicated for them it seems easier to believe that there is no higher being other than themselves.

It is easier for them to believe only as far as what their limited earthly eyes can see and their limited minds can understand.

I would not waste time with those individuals, who seek to belittle your walk with the Lord. It has always been like this for centuries, but instead gear your energies towards seeking out those that are searching for the truth.

To argue a point is fruitless and just causes anger.

There are those who have hit bottom with nowhere to turn except up. Seek out those that are in need of hope and The Good News of the Gospel.

Blessed are those who have seen and believe. More Blessed are those who have not seen yet believe and continue to walk by faith not by sight.

All creatures and creation has Gods fingerprints all over it.

Who keeps each planet in orbit in perfect rotation?
Who keeps the Earth in it's orbit at a perfect distance from the Sun?
Why hasn't it wobbled off orbit after all these centuries, crashing us into that huge ball of fire?
Who is keeping us in oxygen, and why haven't we run out by now?(Trees and grass?) Then explain now how it has not changed since we have less trees and rain forrest along with more concrete parking lots, more now than ever in history?
More people populate the earth now than ever before, doesn't that require more oxygen? And still each of us have enough oxygen to carry us through our lifetime.

What keeps the heart in rhythm and each breath you take automatic when your body is at rest or asleep? The brain?
Then what keeps the brain active while you sleep keeping all organs functioning for all these years?

Why can't science duplicate the human eye in detail?

Why is the oceans tide affected with the moons gravitational pull ?

Who designed each creature in colorful detail such as the Zebra yet each one with it's own individual print?
Along with the detail, of every living creature in the the deepest darkest sea?

Those who are involved in science, that were once not believers, are now seeing that there has to be a higher being to keep such things from the most invisable micro creature to the massive whales, to the most delicate jellyfish, each one with a purpose in keeping the oceans balanced.

Evolution? Then why can't the human body manage to evolve a much needed kidney or heart or lung when it is needed to survive in its natural habitat? Missing teeth? Why isn't the body evolving the calcium from bones to replace the missing teeth ?

When we were developing and breathing fluid in our mother's womb, how is it we didn't develop gills and fins in this liquid enviornment,?

For those who wish to argue that God doesn't exist and the Bible is nothing but a story book, can check out Hank Handigraff online. He has spent many years in Biblical Research and is well educated as he is gifted to answer any questions you may have in detail form.

That is his calling and it sounds like most of you might enjoy conversing with him about it instead of making fun of this individuals question. Take it up with a pro or are you intimidated?

Keep on studing and Keep the Faith.

Are you really asking a question?? It sounds like you asked one and answered one all in a single paragraph......

If everyone had just one belief, we would have a pretty boring world...that is what makes us all our own self...having the ability to think and act on our own behalf.

In answer to your question and everybody else's response...Christianity is a fairly new religion...if you read anything on Archeology or ancient cultures you will find that pre-christianity (pagan) didn't worship one god. They worshiped everything in life. In ancient cultures women were revered and considered goddesses because they could bring in new life (give birth), the sun and the moon, death, animals, water, trees, etc. were all governed by their own individual god.
Paganism was the first true religion......and existed for a long long time before Christianity was introduced. Yes, there is some archaeological evidence in the Bible but there is no definitive proof to confirm that the events actually took place.
Why should we again (Egypt went through this ages ago and it brought about war and senseless killing) conform to a certain individuals belief? If you believe in god, that's fine and it's your choice...but you cannot force someone else to believe or judge them because they don't go along with exactly what you believe in. I personally have a problem believing in something that just "is"...no beginning and no end. It goes against every law of nature and beyond comprehension. When there are cold hard facts put in front of me showing proof...then I might sit down and re-think the idea.

I find it hard to believe that we are God's creation because there is no evidence for that. I have believed. I have given God a chance, but there just isn't any evidence for God's existance, and the Bible, the only piece of evidence we have, is loaded with contradiciton and absurdity.

As for a purpose in life, I believe I do have a purpose in life; the one that I give it. I don't believe in a divine purpose, because there are too many problems and inconsistencies. What about a baby that lives for a couple days in the hospital, and then dies? What was it's divine purpose?

I'm a skeptic. I don't believe in anything. Belief infers that I take someones word that something I haven't directly experienced myself as real. Science is a tool for testing what is real. I know what is real and what is not real. Santa is not real. The Easter Bunny is not real. Invisible all powerful spirits that don't do anything and leave not the smallest shred of evidence that they exist, are not real.

There is no purpose to life other than what you make of it. The love that you feel inside of you has always been there. You don't need some imaginary god to make you feel that love. The voice inside your head is not god, it just sounds like it thinks it is. That voice is you, your feelings your love. Make your life the beautiful thing that it is.

Have a Real Grateful day.

I just copied and pasted your entire comment, and replaced each time the word "God" was typed with the word "Poisedon".

Sound silly to you now?

Unfortunately that is a hard question to answer. Only God knows the answer of why people don’t want to believe in Him. We just have to continue to pray that they find God before it is too late. There is plenty of evidence of His existence; all they have to do is look outside. Keep up the good work of believing in Him and keep telling people about Him.

because sadly many have been hurt in churches, some molested etc. I have heard many horror stories and many sad stories of betrayl and just people not caring. There is one christian denomination that I will not name I believe is from hell. They give all of us bad names. And are becoming a middle class snob fest doctrine. These same people are in my family and have disowned me because I am different. You would think that would make me turn on God no it shows me what damage man can do. I am triing to repair what these false christians are doing and there attacking. So thats probably from what I have heard people like these people. They make God a snob living in a middle class neighborhood driving a minivan and wearing a sweater over his shoulders.

It's hard for us to believe that we are Gods creation because of many factors

1) There have been literally hundreds of "gods" throughout history.
2) There is no evidence that supernatural beings exist.
3) God as depicted in the bible seems at times mean and petty.
4) There is good evidence that we were created differently than your account.

If proof is in the bible, how do you authenticate the bible. Do you have a supernatural power to be able to read a book and know whether it is the truth? I don't!

There is no evidence whatsoever for the existence of god.
=================
"One day you will all see."

That's a mighty arrogant statement coming from someone who has never looked at the question outside of her own small perspective (for example, who can't tell "not believing in god" from "hating god", a sure sign that you've never really questioned what you were brought up believing).

Try treating others more respectfully and you'll find you're better received. If your goal is to bring people to your belief system, this kind of childish narrowmindedness is exactly the wrong way to go about it. We're WAY beyond you on this, and pretending to know something we don't know isn't going to work.

Actually what I wonder why is it so easy for so many to believe in ancient Hebrew mythology.
Are the vast majority of Americans that gullible?
Is it likely that the general education system is bad because your government would rather you were uneducated and easy to control?
Do you really believe God is sending private messages to George Bush directing his decisions?

Please give your head a shake and start thinking about reality
