to build the next great space telescope to prove the universe is actually as old as scientists estimate.

See, with budget cuts & all, they had to figure out a new way to make money, so they figured what better way then to get fundamental Christians to foot the bill with a hugely deceptive museum that panders to their crazy beliefs.

Is that poetic or what?

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Those of us who claim to know Jesus- are we truly representing the love of Christ here, or are we pointing fingers? One thing that I have to remember is that before I came to Christ I was one in need of saving- so I believe that we as Christians should remember this when we share our faith. I am not saying that we have to be tolerant of sin- because God isn't however I am saying we need to remember it is because of Christ we are forgiven. And God loved us before we were saved.

Athiests want to convince the religions that their belief is wrong, and Christians want to convince everyone that their belief is wrong. Pagans have doubts, but think that being a pagan is better than being a christan. And the agnostics are just along for the ride. Yes? I think I hit the major groups in this room.

If life is made from life, as there must be parents or there is no child, does it not make sense that the first life was created from god, not by god?

This is really directed at people who believe in some godform.

When I heard from Yahoo about Yahoo answered, (what I was told) I thought it was a place to share, those who had genuine questions could ask and those who had genuine answers would help by answering... I didn't know it was a bashing fest, sorry, my mistake!

And that the word of God is the truth.

If that is the case, why didn't I win the lottery last night. I prayed for 1 solid week that I would win the lottery this week and nothing from God.

Why not? Because the Bible says :
John 14:14 "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."

I think the word of God is now a least questionable.

I was saddened to hear the remarks posted after Rev. Falwell passed away , even though as a Christian, he was too politically involved in my personal opinion. Billy Graham and his beautiful wife avoided political controversy, insofar as possible, even though he ministered to more presidents than any other man.

I know three people that got violations for asking for others to join them in prayer for someone. Why does this scare you? They ARE asking a question. They are asking others for them to join them in prayer. If you don't want to read those questions then pass them over. You don't have to read everyone on here. Why do you think you have to run the whole Yahoo! Answers section? Why can't you leave them alone? What are you scared of that you have to get those questions off of here? It isn't a solitation. A solitation ask for money or donations. These people are asking other Christians for them to join them in prayer. That is the American way. Please give me an answer that helps me understand why you feel like you have to report only the questions regarding Prayer?

Say a prayer for the Graham Family?

Heavenly Father, I lift the Graham's up to you. Be with them. Let them be able to share their memories of this awesome woman of God that has stood by her husband for so long. Give them Your peace and comfort. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Then can't he stop evil without interfering with our free will, and provide the lessons we would learn due to this evil without it, using his omnipotence?

If not, then God can't do anything.

If he can but doesn't want to, then why wouldn't he?

I have heard in the past that there are no records of Jesus existing while he was alive. Is this true? I know that there are said to be witnesses, but I am actually looking for written accounts of him while he was alive.

Thanks.
