Without Him, I would not have children or parents...and neither would you.

Jesus means less to me than my parents and half-again less
than my offspring so if there is a place to be had it would be a stretch well after my in-laws. Jesus is in the ball park. Not on playing field or even cheap seats but Jesus is up behind
the lights looking down.

Jesus means more because it's Jesus who gave you your parents and children. And He's the one that has and is giving them life.

It doesn't mean that you don't love your family but your love for Jesus should be so much that it seems as though they mean less.

Why not be grateful to the Creator for the creation.

Grace and Peace

To be a follower of Jesus is to love. To express my devotion, I am required to love my neighbors, including those closest to me. The question makes no sense. Separating God from love is an artificial exercise in semantics.

Keep seeking. You will find what you're looking for.

I love Jesus because He first loved me.
We are His children. He loves us so much, that He died for us. "NO GREATER LOVE THAN THIS THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR A FRIEND".
I wouldn't have any children if it weren't for Him. My parents wouldn't have me, if it weren't for Him. He is my FIRST LOVE,
my EVERLASTING LOVE.
We are not our own. We were bought at a price. The precious blood of Jesus. He needs to be first in our lives. EVERYONE else comes after Him.

He means more to me because your parents and children will not always be there with you or for you. He died for our sins so that we can have everlasting life. Your parents and children can not do that. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being with my mom and my children (dad died 14 years ago), but they do not give me that daily fulfillment I need to live in this world.

I hope this help!

Of course, this question goes to all Jesus believers only, those who don't, well, they don't even know who Jesus is, or pretend not to.

When your father for example, 'mean' more to you than your . let say, sister. Does this mean your love for your sister has diminished or is gone?

Similarly, if you are a Christian, and you are made to choose between following Christ and following the will of your family, then you will follow Christ, and it doesn't mean you no longer love your family.

Being how I believe God is not only in my family but is a part of my husband, children, and parents, thus for me its the same.
I have unconditional love and faith in them all. (except when it comes to my husband doing the laundry!)

Provocative question!
Our obvious gut reaction is that he doesn't.
But ultimately if you ever have to choose one or the other, the question really comes into sharp focus.
If I accept Jesus and christianity, then my muslim parents and family are obligated to kill me, or at least turn their backs on me. So will I decide to reject Jesus because of that? Not if I believe that Jesus is the only way to Allah/God.
So in that context, yes he means more.

Jesus is my salvation. Without Jesus I'm lost. He's the only way. My full trust is in the Lord and the Lord only.

Glad I don't have that problem, however, brainwashed Christians do have that problem. Frankly, what kind of entity would give a person a child or parent to love then demand you love that entity more. Especially one you can't see, touch, hear, or smell. Of course we all can use or senses to feel our family members. Oh, well, the invisible entities human workers strike again.
