I'm just wondering, because i feel like sharing a few, but i've had too many accounts deleted before, and this one has lasted longer than the rest, Because there has been less Jewish related stuff in my answers and questions, and i've started to see a connection.

Likewise, if God's name is actually not Jehovah, should we show contempt for the name Jehovah? Or Yahweh?

In both cases, they are identified with Christianity, - Jehovah God and Jesus Christ - but likely not in an entirely accurate representation.

The Bible doesn't provide us with the exact shape of Jesus' stauros, nor the exact vowels or pronounciation of God's name. Yet the OT places much importance on God's name and the NT places much importance on the stauros as a symbol of Christ's sacrifice.

Is there a "happy medium" somewhere between contempt and worshipful adoration? What is your opinion?

There's no 'right' or 'wrong' answer - I would just like to know how people feel about it.

What do you think?

Gluttony is a sin, and if you don't turn from your sins, you go to hell...right?

So, do people who die fat go to hell, because they never turned from their sin of gluttony?

Or are Christians purposely gaining weight to try to kill themselves...so they can get to heaven sooner and leave this terrible unGodly world?

Your thoughts?

I want all your worldy possessions and any money you might have. It will go to a good cause, me. I promise not to damage any of it but you won't care anyway, you'll be off enjoying heaven or wherever you go.

If I were a Jew or Christian or Muslim would you consider me to be stupid even though I understand science particularly the Big Bang and Evolution? If so why? Now I'm not saying that I am a Jew or Christian or Muslim. I'm asking if I were a Jew or Christian or Muslim.

"There is evidence that within the U.S. strong disparities in religious belief versus acceptance of evolution are correlated with similarly varying rates of societal dysfunction, the strongly theistic, anti-evolution south and mid-west having markedly worse homicide, mortality, STD, youth pregnancy, marital and related problems than the northeast where societal conditions, secularization, and acceptance of evolution approach European norms."

Im conducting a brief survey, and am curious as to YOUR PERSONAL REASONS for belief in God. Please answer the following two questions:

1) WHY do you beleive in God?

2) WHY do you think OTHERS beleive in God?

(for ease in obtaining results, please label your responses numerically, and only address the posted questions. Also, please provide realistic answers for your beleifs - "because God is real" is not a realistic answer....I want to know what reasons you have for beleiving this. I thank you all in advance.)

I mean there is so much division and separation. You all can't even agree on an accuarate and unified message. So how do you expect anyone to take you guys seriously when all you have been doing for the last 2000 years is fighting over who has the right message and who doesn't. Catholics, Protestants, Mormons, baptists, Pentecostals. I mean seriously do you guys ever stop to think that if your God was real he would have a more unifying message? And please spare me the "the bible is the only true message" because even that changes over and over.

In other words. Are the main stream religious types able to differentiate between science and religion. Do most religious people still believe that evolution did not occur or do they allow themselves to be able to believe in God and know that evolution did occur?
