As part of my GCSE humanities coursework on abortion i need to do reserach, but people around me all have the same opinon so please answer these questions.thanks

what is your age
45+

what is your gender? male

what is your religion? Bible believing Christian, non denominational

do you follow the taching of your religion? Yes I follow the Bible, in context

is your religion for or against abortion?

Against because the Bible teaches that the unborn child is a human life. Read Exodus chapter 21.

what area do you work in?/what is your job Pastor

is abortion legal in britain? I don't know.

do you know what a pressure group is? No.

In your oppinon when does life begin? Conception

But who cares what MY OPINION is, the Bible is says in Exodus 21 that an unborn baby is a life. If you accidently hit a pregnant lady and that caues her to lose the baby, the Bible says the man who hit her must pay life for life.

which of these statements do you agree with:
1 abortion is always wrong - Yes

If the life of the mother is in danger you do a C-Section and try to save both the mother and the child.

2 abortion is only right in certain circumstances
3 abortion is a choice people should have

who has the right to choose?

Why didn't you list the baby?

None of the below have a right to choose. If a woman choose not to get pregnant, we know what causes pregnancy and that women should NOT DO IT!

doctor,
mother,
religion,
no-one its wrong,
pressure groups,
other please state

do you know the current law on abortion? Yes, in 1972, 48 states of the 50 US States have outlawed abortion, yet 7 men on the Supreme Court claim those laws were unconsitutional.

If yes do you think it should be changed

Yes let the states decide and regulate medical procedures. Keep the federal courts out of it.

if yes stricter or more lenient

anything els you would like to add?

All 50 states agree that a girl can't get her ears pierced without her parents concent.

Yet she can kill her baby.

In 1972, last year before Roe vs. Wade decision, less than 200 girls died in the whole year from botched abortions.

Today, the number is about 1,500 die from botched abortions, each week! In the USA.

A busy abortionist makes about $35,000 per week. That's clear profit after expenses.

1. 30 years old.

2. Female

3. Atheist

4. There really is no teaching in my belief structure.

5. Neither

6. Education

7. I really don't know the answer to that.

8. No

9. When an expectant mother decides to continue a pregnancy.

10. Abortion is only right in certain circumstances.

11. Only the pregnant woman.

13. In America..yes I do.

14. Yes

15.More strict

My views on abortion are obviously not from a religious standpoint..I do not think that abortion should be illegal...however it is overwhelmingly available. Having one abortion because of poor judgment could be understandable...having 5 or 6 because you're either lazy or stupid is not only masochistic but its self abuse. Women need to focus on birth control instead of casually getting abortions..it is becoming as convenient as getting your nails done. I simply am not bringing the "child's" perspective into this debate..I am focusing on the fact that such behavior can be harmful to women. Pro- Life and Pro- Choice groups have both forgotten about the women involved..It is all politics and religion.

1.Age - 22.

2. Female

3. Pagan

4. Yes, I follow the teachings of my religion

5.Student/clerk at a grocery store. I am going to college to become a High School Art Teacher

6. I don't know - I'm not british.

7. I would imagine it's what it sounds like - a particular group of people that try to persuade you into thinking like them or into making a certain choice - like peer pressure

8. Life begins at conception

9. Abortion is a choice that people should have. NO, I don't think abortion is right - but above that, I don't think anyone should be able to tell a woman what she can and cannot do to her body. I would NEVER have an abortion - I love my son too much and want a daughter - but I do not want anyone telling me what I am allowed to do to my body. What happens if the government decides that our country is over crowded? What if they decide we're only allowed a certain number of children and that if we become pregnant afterwards, we must have an abortion? See, people, it can work both ways. It probably won't - but it CAN. I don't think you'd like for someone to tell you that by law you HAVE to have an abortion. So, on the other hand, it's not fair to tell a woman she CAN'T.

10. I'm not sure about the laws in my state on abortion, but I know it is still allowed.

11. I think I've said enough. Hope this helps.

Age: 28

Gender: Male

Religion: Catholic

Yes, I follow my religion

My religion is against abortion

I am currently unemployed

I am not for sure about the laws on abortion in Great Britian, because I don't live there

Yes, I know what a pressure group is

Life begins at the exact moment of conception

Abortion is always wrong

Nobody has the right to choose to murder a defenseless baby

It varies from state to state, but all and all the United States allows it in most circumstances

Abortion should be made illegal ASAP

Stricter

Abortion is one of the worst evils that we face in the world today. How anyone can see it alright to murder, especially a child who cannot defend him/herself, is absolutely beyond me. The moral fiber of this world is crumbling at a massive rate, and the Lord won't put up with it for much longer.
