Does it ever make you sad when you see some of the questions or remarks here on yahoo Q&A? I admit that I am not perfect and that i have done a lot of things in my life that I am not proud of, but some of the things I see on here make me so sad. The mean remarks, the disrespect and mostly the people who are lost. I am a Christian, and I am not here to judge so don't go get all defensive on me Athesits!! I am simply saying that I really feel a lot of hurt in my soul for all the evil in the world. I actually find myself praying for the Rapture so that I can be with my Lord. I know that I am here to spread the gospel and exhibit a life reflective of Christ, but it really gets hard at times!!

If your a Christian you believe every word of the Bible speaks to everyone in every place and time and that the word is the word of God.

When the Bible has versus like..... (Leviticus 20:13--'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. Rom. 1:26-27, 1 Tim. 1:10, 2 Peter 2:4-6, or Deut. 22:5 - cross-dressing is also considered an abomination before God. )

How do you say its not condenmed.

Theres evidence that alcolism, nymphomania, pedophilia, and psychosis are partly do to genetics, but that doesn't mean God approves of this behavior.

I'm not calling anyone hypocrites, but I never understood the position that homosexual acts (not temtations) are not sinful.

My dad was there and we were at a funeral or somewhere where all my family on my moms and my fathers side were. I sat by my dad and he was angry with my mom for dating this guy she is with. Then My jaws locked up so bad that my teeth started to crush and I started to shake. I could not talk. My dad sent me to a doctor where it happened again. I was there with my husband and the doctor gave me some cakes with medicine. Then had me fill out some papers. She said that I was going to be an atheist because my dad was one. But he was not an atheist he just didn't believe in the Bible. Could this dream be from demons trying to get me to turn away from God? I have had dreams of my father and I know when it feels like it is really him there like it is sent from him but this one didnt feel that way. It felt like something else. can someone help me?

can you please forgive me for being angry with you all the time. You are just so blind. I can not understand why for the life of me that you would listen to God, when he says that there are no marrages in heaven, but you never seek to wonder why. You just make up guess's. You just Go on with your life knowing that your mate is going to be no more, that your love for one another is just dust. If you were seeking like I have and asked God in prayer, why can I not keep my wife in heaven. He would have told you why, then you could have fallowed in the truth, and recived a wife in heaven. Why don't you seek the Lord your God for answers to questions you do not know? He is there waiting to answer you. To know my wife is not forever would kill me. How can I even love her whole heardedly knowing that this life is nothing more than ash. The Lord promise me a wife as a hidden tresure. You could have been the same as me if you were seeking him. Your whole family is nothing..why?

Ok I'm very curious about this, but what action should be taken towards parasitic creatures such as mosquitos, ticks, etc etc because most of the time to remove them unfortuately it kills them?

I would like a serious answer please since I really would like to know the honest answer to this.

Yes it is!!! They focus too much on mary, mary didn't die for your sins!!! I find it hard to believe that they believe their pagan rituals are right and can get them into heaven. The very bible they believe in condemns many of their practices, which is why the stereotype that catholics don't read the bible is alive today. Catholics!!!!, Jesus said, I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.

for those who like to bring down others deities or beliefs
that the feelings you have towards your deity or belief
is the same as others have about theirs

they believe theirs to be true
they have respect and love for theirs
they would not believe otherwise
before you speak bad about anothers belief system , before you slander it as false
think

More often than not, I rely on the advice of other Christians, Christian online blogs, even devotional material and commentary written by theologians... instead of delving my heart into God's Word in and of itself. I have only heard about the immense beauty of it, and have pretended to have experienced it... but truly, I've never actually felt it working in my life... only indirectly through the abovelisted mediums.

Please help me! I want to see the beauty of God's Word, but cannot seem to be able to even if I sit down with a Bible and try to read it for a period of time.

dead an embalmed body?

Hell, I mean they claim they can cure cancer, make the cripple walk, cure arthritis and warts, make the blind see, the deaf hear and bring the dead back to life and cure any other kind of handicap/ illness.......why not help an amputee or an embalmed cadaver?

Assume that it was proven that it was his book and that he wrote it and that the teachings were consistant with the teachings of the bible (although clearly some would argue that they weren't consistant with their interpretation of the Bible).

so....word of God and scripture or not???

And for anyone who uses Revelations 22:18 &19 "If any man shall add unto these things", keep in mind that Moses said the same thing in Deuteronomy 4:2. If you believe them both, then you'd have to say that every book after Deuteronomy was added to it.

They were both clearly referring to their own words and not the words of other prophets and not canonizations that would be created later.

So...scripture or not??? Would you pray about it to find out if it were scripture? Would you read it to see for yourself what you thought? If you minister said it was from satan would you automatically believe him?
