The movie novel about the volcano or tale about the levels of hell? Okay slap me.

I can't say. Did they read it and believe it? Who knows.
I remember reading it in junior college. Freaked me out. I remember the one part of it that really got to me; the level of hell that was reserved for the suicides. They had no other punishment other than they were separated from God for all of eternity. Quite an imagination, the author.
Well...I'm grateful I came to know the bible.

I have actually met people who actually think that was an accurate description of hell, as if it was part of the bible, or something. I'm guessing that that is another little tidbit they heard once and accepted as ultimate truth.
(FYI - that book was a fictional novel... just in case any of you folks read this question)
